We enjoyed lunch at this trattoria along the edge of Campo dei Fiori. Our sautéed mussels and clams was spot-on and our bruschetta combo of tomato, tepanade, and artichoke was fresh and tasty. Along with a glass of local red wine from Lazio, we munched while watching the market shoppers.

Had the fried cod, and roman artichoke for appetizers. Cece e Pepe spaghetti, lasagna, and a mushroom pizza for mains. Dessert we shared the Pana cotta and tiramisu.

We ordered pizzas and french fries, and both were simply exceptional. The pizzas were a perfect blend of traditional Italian flavors with a crisp, wood-fired crust that was just the right balance of chewy and crispy. Each bite was a burst of freshness, with high-quality ingredients that clearly reflected the care put into crafting these dishes. The mozzarella was creamy, the tomatoes were bursting with flavor, and the toppings were generous without being overwhelming.

The french fries were a wonderful surprise—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. They were the ideal complement to the pizzas, and we couldn’t stop reaching for more.

Great pasta and lasagna. The chicken sandwich was good as well as the pizza. We even discussed coming back for dinner because it was so good. Ate some not so good meals in Rome so it was nice to get good food for a change. Oh, it was affordable as well!

We had dinner and lunch many times here during our stay in Rome. The food is absolutely delicious. The best lasagna and pasta we ate in Rome during our 7 days, we ate here. Fish menu is also very good and delicious, as well as wine selection. The staff is very friendly and nice. The garden is cozy and has this nice rustic Italian vibe. Price for quality in my opinion is very good. All in all, we will definitely come back here whenever we’re in Rome next time.

Probably the most friendly and courteous service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Incredible drinks and food. Eating and drinking on the square makes for a great atmosphere.

They were very hospitable, there was a/c inside and a fan with mist outside. The food was delicious and fairly priced. They even gave us a lemoncello after our meal on the house

We didn't eat but the food looked amazing. We just needed to stop and drink. Husband had a beer and I had a non alcoholic gin and tonic. The staff were so nice and friendly. Really would stay and eat here if we hadn't all ready

We come here every time we arrive in Campo de fiori. So now the name is changed but from last year, the food, service and atmosphere remains the same. The drinks and pasta are great.

Had a great time at Magus Bistro in Rome a couple of days ago. The vibe was cozy, and the food was on point. Big shoutout to Donie—he was the sweetest and super kind. He really made the experience special with his suggestion of the seabass and the cleaning and serving of it directly to our plate. Definitely worth a visit!
