My husband Kevin did this hike with Nino Aversa as there guide.
Unbelievable views & history. Nino’s knowledge & humour made the hike even more enjoyable. The surprise of the day was having lunch & playing music with a local farmer that provides all home grown food. Wine, veggies, fruit & bread.

Path of the gods is an amazing easy-moderate difficulty trekking path. The view is absolutely stunning. Recommend starting in Bomerano and finishing in Positano. Bring water and don't forget to refill when you have the opportunity.

We did a really good hike, it was for sure worth it all the sweat we felt😄 The views was breathtaking, we did it in the early morning before sunrise and it was stunning, there were no people around and good spots we found for amazing photos. We enjoyed it very much, take it only for hour if you do not have time for full walk, we walked just halfway and it was enough!

Beautiful scenery! The hike down to Positano is not bad at all, but going back up is challenging! There are parking spots right at the starting point if you are coming back up, but you can park at the free parking lot if you are taking the bus back up ( parking fills up quick).

Beautiful hike and I recommend the full track to Grotta Biscotto. It took me 5,5hr for the 20km hike. Lots of water point and bring food. October is the best since is less busy and less hot.

Not only are the views absolutely amazing, it is fascinating to see all the terraced farms up and down the cliffsides.

The path can be very narrow in places with steep dropoffs and one section had a wooden rail with a very loose post, so I would not recommend going with young children.

What a hike big steps and only 1 way up, up and some more but what a view. Make sure to wear hiking shoes and take water with you.
It did take us 1h30 up to the junction point from there town going through the monaster 1h with some sections rather steep

Sentiero degli Dei

The Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) is a hiking trail along the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. It is one of the most popular hiking trails in Italy, and for good reason. The trail offers stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the coastline, and the surrounding mountains.

The Sentiero degli Dei is about 9 kilometers long and takes about 4-5 hours to complete. The trail is well-marked and relatively easy to follow, but there are some steep sections. It is important to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water, especially if hiking in the summer.

The Sentiero degli Dei starts in the town of Agerola and ends in the town of Positano. However, you can hike the trail in either direction. Most people start in Agerola because it is a bit easier to go downhill than uphill.

Along the way, you will pass through picturesque villages, olive groves, and vineyards. You will also see ruins of ancient Roman temples and fortifications.

One of the most popular viewpoints on the Sentiero degli Dei is the Belvedere di Punta Campanella. From here, you have stunning views of the Gulf of Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, and the islands of Capri and Ischia.

Another popular viewpoint is the Grotta di Santa Maria a Mare. This is a cave church that is perched on the cliffside overlooking the sea.

The Sentiero degli Dei is a beautiful and challenging hike that is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories. Here are a few interesting facts about the trail:

The Sentiero degli Dei is also known as the "Path of the Heroes" because it was once used by Greek and Roman heroes to travel between the different towns and villages along the Amalfi Coast.
The trail is said to have been inspired by the Greek gods Zeus and Athena, who are said to have walked along the path to watch Ulysses sail past.
The Sentiero degli Dei was featured in the James Bond film "For Your Eyes Only."
The trail is also popular with celebrities, including George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt.

Easy and beautiful walk in the hills of Amalfi Coast Takes about 2h if you go on a average speed, take good shoes and some water. Some parts were abandoned and others were quite busy, probably because of some holdups by slower people. You don't need sticks or anything fancy, just some shoes with decent grip and a bottle of water will do. Enjoy the flora in the hills and the views on the coastline.

Much easier walk than it is made out to be. Similar to some of the Cinque Terre walks but less uphill. Beautiful views. No ticket needed. Fairly well signposted but it would be a good idea to download a map before you go.

Very beautiful scenic views, challenging 3 to 6 hours hike depending on route and speed. Wear vrtu comfortable hiking shoes, bring a bag pack with water and snacks, and dress comfortably for the hike & season. You will love it and it's worth it

Very nice path. More of a trek than a hike. You don't climb a montain. Sketchy at times bacause there is not always rail guard. I wouldnt not recommend with samll children.
Bring decent shoes. Path is not too rough but still. Also bring water.
Takes about 3h-4h if you don't go too crazy. View is just awesome. We went there on january so heat wasnt a problem. Free of charge. Took the bus from amalfi.
