Hotel Cristal

Very nice budget hotel! It is not new and modern, but it is very clean, the staff is very polite and helpful and the location is very quiet. We stayed for just 3 nights and every morning our room was cleaned and our sheets and towels were changed. It is also on 10 minutes walking distance from the Central station and from the old town. Great value for the money! This hotel definitely gets my full recommendations!

The hotel is a good value for money option, clean and well located. The personnel is exceptional, very friendly and welcoming, they made our trip! They were very eager to welcome us very early in the morning in a very busy August as our flight was delayed overnight. We had an authentic experience in Bari thanks to their kindness so I can highly recommend them.

This is an amazing budget hotel. The rooms were clean with fresh towels, slippers and air conditioning. The staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast included. Thanks for a great stay!:)

I stayed at the Hotel Cristal in February 2017. I enjoyed the location. It's an easy 10 minute walk to downtown or the old town. The railway station is a short walk away and around the corner is a fantastic pizzeria. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was mediocre but the cappuccinos and espressos were great. I usually had a couple before setting out.
The rooms itself were OK. All rooms I saw had a balcony, and the floors were tiled. No filthy carpets.
They have a parking garage, which was helpful. It did cost extra.
Next time I'm in Bari I would gladly stay here again.

Very kind and great service. The rooms are clean and have ac. Breakfast was plenty and fresh. The staff even let us leave our stuff after checking out to check the old parts of the city.

The hotel has excellent quality/price ratio. Very clean and tidy. The team is very kind and helpful. Rooms are very fine for a 3 star hotel. The bathroom is also clean and has the basics. The location is excellent - very easy to access. Walls are not thin so you can enjoy silence and privacy. Breakfast also included.

So...just a short while since I returned from Puglia and the memories are still fresh.
I really enjoyed my trip to this beautiful place part of Italy and I guess part of this magic came from the warmth of the people I met there.
So you can imagine that before starting this review I would like to thank the staff at Hotel Cristal for making my stay so pleasant and for helping me with many informations (in one place I was sent I decided that those pastas are the best pastas I ever ate but more about that place in another review).
Now, before starting the review I would like to mention that I booked a small room so ALL my comments will refer only to that kind of room.

Location

The Hotel is situated on Via Trevisani 190 and is about 1.2 km from Bari Central Station. The road is simple even though it might seem a bit long. You only take left on Corso Italia from the Station and walk straight ahead until you meet with Via Trevisani where you turn right and walk up until the Hotel.
The hotel is situated about 1 km from the old part of Bari and it is an easy walk that I made quite a few times myself too.

Room
As I said I booked a small room and my only discomfort was the small shower. At 190 cm and 110 kg I barely fitted inside the shower cabin so taking showers was a bit tricky.
Other than that the room is small but I did have a kitchenette and a nice balcony where I enjoyed a drink or something sweet late at night after my trips.
The room was impeccably clean, cleaning service was present every day and provided me with new towels each day.

Staff

Hands down some of the warmest people I ever met. Only good things can be said about them so a big plus from me.

Price
For a double room(small) I paid a total of 360 thru Agoda for 6 nights and that seems fair for this hotel and the period(may) in which I took my trip.

Proximity
As I said in the beginning the hotel is about 1.2 km from the train station and 1 km from the old part of Bari. Also Bari Lungomare is about 1.3 km so location was very ok for me.

Facilities
The hotel does offer parking space (you must reserve it in advance) and believe me if you really want to see Puglia you will need a car so it is nice to be able to park it right at the hotel.

Verdict

Simple: if ever in Bari again I will definitely stay here again.

Ok for a one-night stay, has air-conditioning, reasonably located. Good coffee and bakeries for breakfast. 20 minutes walk to old town. Staff friendly but not much English is spoken.

Would stay here again. Very nice hotel, precious service in such a central location

Rodzinny hotel w centrum Bari. Bardzo miła obsługa. Reaguje na wszelkie uwagi. Poprawili działanie klimatyzacji i pożyczyli adapter. Do starówki 15 minut spacerkiem.

È stato un soggiorno molto piacevole, ci siamo sentite come a casa. Ambiente confortevole e ospitalità ben superiore alle aspettative. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto lo staff.

Struttura un po' datata ma in ordine e funzionale. Personale gentile, disponibile e super attento a risolvere anche gli inconvenienti provocati da ospiti incivili dell'albergo
