Truly an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, the staff, and above all the food was out of this world. Their truffle specialities were one of a kind, the wine was impeccable, and the staff were all super friendly. Not your typical tourist restaurant by any means. I can't recommend this place enough!

Best meal I had in Italy! I stumbled across this restaurant while wandering the backstreets of Assisi one day in late April 2022. The waiter was friendly and the food was amazing!

I started with the gnocchi with truffle and it's some of the best gnocchi I have ever had! Get the gnocchi! I then got the sliced steak with truffle and it was ok. I would highly recommend this place.

This was our best meal in Italy. We had lunch here after we finished our prayers at Basilica of St Francis . We got the gnocchi with truffles - which was delicious and a pasta with cream and sausage - what a great combination of the cheese and sausage. We couldn't have dessert since we were running late to catch the train back to Rome. Definitely planning a stay in Assisi just to have more meals in this amazing restaurant!

The roedeer dish with juniper berries was tender and different. Also the pork with pistachio crust was tasty.

Nice pasta, too bad it is not the season for fresh truffle. Very nice service, reasonable price. Recommend.

Really nice place to have dinner! The spaggeti with wild boar and cream sauce was delicious.

This restaurant manages to serve food that feels both traditional and innovative at the same time. I had the poached egg in creamy Parmesan with pear and walnuts as an appetizer and the tagliolini with saffron and pork cheek. Both were AMAZING. And a glass of Prosecco with lunch because, why not?

We stopped in here for a late lunch while walking around Assisi. It was mostly empty save for 3 or 4 other people. However, other than the out-of-the-way location, I don't know why because it was really excellent. The staff were polite and knew plenty of English (though they were patient with my mediocre Italian) and the food was very good. I highly recommend the gnocchi and any of the truffle dishes.

Most likely the best dinner my wife and I had during this visit to Italy. She had the homemade gnocchi with gorgonzola, and I had the fillet with sagrantino reduction and gorgonzola sauce. Both executed perfectly. Capped it off with two different tiramisus. One traditional, one limoncello flavored. Both excellent. Great service and good ambiance. Will definitely be back the next time we are in that part of the country.

I took a group here for our evening dinner, and it was incredible. Warm, helpful service paired with great Umbrian food. We started with a mix of appetizers (cheese plates, meat plates, bruschetta) which highlighted regional specialities. Our main courses included the boar cream sauce pasta, gnocchi with gorgonzola and truffle, boar stew, and pasta with fava beans, bacon, and pecorino. All so delicious that we passed them around and across the table so everyone could try. Desserts of crema catalana, panna cotta, tiramisu, sweet wine and biscotti rounded out this exceptional meal. What a treat! It's just up the street from San Francisco, a little out of the way.

I was in Asissi for work travelling with American students of which one remembered this restaurant from the previous trip. I was amazed by the quality of the boar sauce pasta and the kindness of the waiter. It was quiet and i will definitely come back!

This was a great restaurant! Very tasty food, attentive service. I would highly recommend, especially as it is so close to the Basilica of St. Francis.

Excellent experience. Ordered the pasta con cacio and the porchetta. Nice ambiance and very good service. Worth the wait if there is a line at the door.

Excellent food, great service--right above the church. Book in advance. Not in the main Piazza so minimal tourist b.s. we loved it!
