E' stata costruita nel XII secolo, presenta una facciata barocca con statue in tufo di San Lino e di San Giusto attribuite a Leonardo Ricciarelli (XVI secolo).
Nell'interno a croce latina ad un'unica navata, sono degne di nota una tavola raffigurante Madonna con Bambino e santi del Maestro di Volterra (XV-XVI secolo), due tavole di Niccolò Cercignani, un altare ligneo cinquecentesco, una tela di Francesco Brini raffigurante l'Immacolata Concezione e uno stucco dipinto raffigurante la Madonna col Bambino entro una mandorla del XIII secolo.

de eerste kerk die ik bezocht in Volterra, de oudste volgens mij. niet veel muurschilderijen want dat is vervaagd maar deze kerk vond ik al bijzonder

כנסייה נחמדה ולא מפוארת. אפילו די פשוטה. סתם כדי להתרשם. אבל מעניין מה זה כל הדגלים האלה שבתוכה ועל הבתים שלידה.

Belle église fort ancienne. A l'intérieur, on se sent hors du temps avec le mobilier du culte très ancien également et les emblêmes de la cité
