Il Prosciuttaio

We visited il Prosciuttaio for a fast lunch, attracted by the reviews and it was a very good option. The restaurant is simple, more oriented to take-away than to dining in but the food was very good. There are lots of options to choose from and the prices are fair. The service is friendly, we recommend this place!

You can choose between baguette and focaccia as bread for your sandwich. In the pictures you see the focaccia. The lady prepares your sandwich with great attention to detail and care. In Germany we would say, she prepares your meal with "love". What can I say, you can really taste the love in those sandwiches.

They are huge and pretty cheap as well. You can chose between so many options and everything looked fresh and tasty. I'd actually like to eat one right now, but unfortunately I'm back home already:(

Very good sandwiches. They are traditional and tasty. They where good value as well (around 7€ for a very big sandwich). The place is nicely decorated. One of the best sandwhices we had in Italy.

Probably in my top 5 best sandwiches I had while traveling. Really tasty focaccia, fresh mozzarella, a lot of prosciutto. Would recommend for a quick stop, especially if you’re past lunch time and there is not enough time for a restaurant visit.

Great selection of local Italian cheeses and meats, which goes straight to your sandwich, just before your eyes together with fresh, crusty Italian bread ♥
This is not a restaurant, you don’t have space to enjoy your sandwich, but just in front is a park with benches, trees and great windy shade ♥

Amazing sandwiches. The staff is super friendly. But the highlight is the food. Huge sandwiches on crunchy fresh Baguette. The ingredients are fresh and really flavourful. Great sauces as well. I had the "Fantastico" and the "Picante". The price is a steal. Each one was 7,50€ and are about the sice of a "foot long"

The man and the lady in the shop are really friendly and lovely. They help us choose the best dishes and make it quickly for us to be on time with the train schedules.

The best sandwich I had in Italy. The sciachiatta was delicious! Also excellent service, the girl that served me was very nice and friendly.

Quite original place! Original foods, home-made ingredients, perfect atmosphere gives you a sense - you are in your place! Design of high quality, where you can't find even one cm - without "it's destination"

Quiet little hole in the wall run by lovely local lady. She's like the mum that feeds all the kid in the village. My truffle based baguette was amazing with prosciutto.
