We have been travelling most of Italy over the past 2 weeks and Assisi has had some of the best foods along with Rome. We came to Enoteca Mazzini for dinner and we were the first customers since we like our dinner earlier. Anyway once seated the waiter who spoke good English took our order. Both our pasta dishes were incredible. Super delicious.
Service was also quick and great. Our server was awesome.
The outdoor seating area of this restaurant is like heaven. It is like a scene from a movie. While seating there multiple people stopped to just take pictures of the beautiful outdoor area.

All in all we had great food, great wine, great service and great time. 100% recommended

The garden setting is absolutely charming. So beautiful— a moment of rest from the city.
The hand made pasta is second to none. You know its quality the moment you taste it. The gorgeous plates are works of art in themselves. Wait till you see the way they light up your meal!
I had black truffles and pasta. It was completely perfect. The insalata mixta was fresh and beautiful, a perfect compliment. What a memorable meal.
My partner had the boar and pasta. You need to get this fish in Assisi, without question.
The house red wine is exactly what we wanted, a perfect Taste of Italy.

We had a lovely lunch here, great food variety, good wine and nice service. The atmosphere and lovely decoration is a plus!
I chose the Parmigiana which I’ve never tried before and wasn’t disappointed with the result. Also the traditional biscuit from Umbria with almond was worth a try. Definitely recommend!

Super helpful and friendly staff, accommodating and delightful chefs. Every plate was cleared; presentation was astounding. Wine list a good spread, and chilled properly where applicable.

We stayed in Assisi and came here 3 times, only to drink wine and some cold cuts. The atmosphere is great the wine was amazing. Very strong recommendation!

Very nice place, we had a wine tasting and the staff was very generous and helpful, as we were with our children and small dog. After our tasting, we went into the shop and they were extremely accommodating, as we were looking for very particular wines and they had such a large selection. They were also able to provide insight into all of the wines were inquired about. When we were done with our wine shopping, and we were ready to pay, they did not charge us for the tasting as were making a purchase for bottles. I thought this was very generous and was a nice end to a great experience.

We had the bruschetta, pasta with fresh summer truffles and Tiramisu for dessert. We chose a local wine, the Montefalco Rosso which is made just outside the town walls. The owner couldn’t have been more hospitable and gracious if he tried! What a fantastic restaurant! Will gladly return!

This was one of our favourite meals on our recent trip to Italy. Delicious, understated fresh tomato salad, gnocchi, and eggplant parmigiana. Highly recommend

Wonderful welcome from a young host . Served fabulous wild boar stew - his grandmother's recipe.

A new place with a young, enthusiastic staff. Great food. Even better wines. We ended up with a tomato salad, bruschetta sampler (which included two olive oil tastes), a lentil dish and a wonderful boar ragu as primi, followed by a cheese platter. Washed down with a total of 6 different glasses of wine, plus an additional - rather expensive, but fun to splurge on - glass of what I can only describe as liquid Christmas pudding. (€110 for the lot.)

The Bruschetta selection was delicious, wide selection of wines and oils, great food, relaxed quiet atmosphere just off the main thoroughfare, knowledgeable staff. Perfect location for an indulgent lunch in Assisi

Beautiful, charming courtyard. Lovely presentation of olive oils and wines served with meal. Delicious menu...will need to return.
