Antico Castello Winery

Small family run winery that is more on the new or modern side (within the past 20 years). The owner gave us tour while his mom made lunch for the wine tasting. It was a quiet afternoon and really relaxing lunch and tasting.

10/10 would do again

This is a small family winery with great people and beautiful vineyards. Chiara was a wonderful host who gave us a nice tour of the winery, and Mamma’s cooking was delicious!

Guys, you are the best!

It was amazing time at Antico Castello winery - so sweet and warm welcome, so delicious snacks and such variety. For the 1st minute we were a bit puzzled as it was not clear if we arrived for wine tasting or restaurant gastronomic surprices!

The winery is like a small castle :) accompanied with great tour, family atmosphere, beautiful and modern tasting room and probably the best Italian wines!
The Greco impressed us very much! Powerful with its own character!
Taurasi riserva 2011 was simply the God!

Wow! What an amazing experience. Chiara was so lovely showing my husband and I around the vineyard and property. She explained thoroughly how the wines are made from start to finish. It is a family owned business so you feel right at home and very welcomed. The wine was incredible and the food was home cooked by her mom. The food was locally grown from their garden and they also make oil, jam, and port. I highly recommend for a truly wonderful unforgettable time. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Had the most wonderful time visiting Antico Castello Winery. Chiara was so sweet and knowledgeable as we toured the winery. She shared her love of family and their commitment to making the most amazing wine throughout our time with her. Mama made lunch which was a feast prepared with love and absolutely delicious. It felt like home ❤ and family. She is adorable. I was so impressed with their wine. I have never tasted a wine with a finish that feels so complete. I loved it so much that I sent a case home. To Chiara and Mama, thank you so much for welcoming us to your beautiful winery. It was an experience I will never forget. 💕

We had the most unique experience at Antico Castello. we got a great tour of the family winery. It was great to see their passion and how they all build the winery to be a great success.at the end of the tour we tried their Taurasi and another 2 of their wines. Excellent wines! as well as the food, made by mom, delicious fava beans! They also make their own olive oil, cold cuts and vegetables which also tasted super yummy!

We could not have had a better experience at Antico Castello. It is a small, family-owned winery, and they really make you feel like part of the family when you are there. Chiara, who co-runs the winery with her brother, was the sweetest tour guide, and did a great job sharing and explaining the winemaking process. The wine was also fantastic. The icing on the cake, though, was the huge and delicious meal made by Momma, the owner’s mom. We happened to stumble upon this place but could not be happier that we did. 10/10.

Incredible Italian Experience!! We passed a beautiful afternoon in this region at Antico Castello! It was beautifully green and serene! The food is the BEST in all of Italy, and the welcome was warm and genuine. We will definitely refer our friends and family here! I cannot wait to come for another visit!!

Fantastic wine, tour, and tasting! Wonderful family-run winery who truly showcases the local terroir and how great (and undervalued) the local grape varieties are. Aglianico (Taurasi), Fiano, Falanghina, Greco, all amazing, but the Taurasi Riserva wow! Our visit was highlighted by the extremely knowledgeable and personal touches. Chiara and Francesco were able to answer in-depth questions, and even our kids' questions with ease. If you are looking for the best wine from Campania, and a great winery experience, don't miss Antico Castello. They helped us ship A LOT of wine home, looking forward to enjoying for years to come!

My wife and I had a wonderful time sampling their wines and olive oil. We were treated with a nice lunch and had an amazing liqueur with cherry notes.

It's a lovely family run business. They offered a tour of the facilities and a delicious meal of locally sourced and prepared foods. We brought our young children and they had a nice time too.
