Amazing pizzeria in the heart of matera. The burrata salad was on of the best i've ever had. Pizzas are really good, ingredients are fresh and recipes are special.

Excellent pizza. We had the 5 cheese and added red sauce. It's clean, artistic, and love their philosophy: different pizzas from the southern Italian regions. Going back tomorrow for lunch. Also hours are great, noon to 1am. Saturday evenings there's live music.

Best pizza we had in Matera, good prices, very highly quality of ingredients. The interior is stunning , an old cave house with a modern touch . Fabulous atmosphere , kind and attentive service. I recommend it 100% .

The most delicious pizza we’ve eaten… ever! The base was thin and the outside crust was crispy. Flavours were fantastic. Definitely recommend this place. The wine recommendation was great too.

Absolutely best pizza in my life was here! This place is just must visit! We came without reservation and the woman administrator said the all table are booked. But the chef came out and seated us at a table. He was very friendly and baked the best pizza in our life!!!! Later we knew that this chef is the world champion in Neapolitan pizza. Just amazing! Amazing place, amazing pizza and amazing chef!)

Some of my friends in Napoli would argue that you can only get pizza in Napoli. My reply to that now will be, “have you had pizza in Matera? Specifically Piu Sud.” The service, the look of the restaurant, and the star of the show….the pizza! All are amazing! I had the Cinque Formaggi….Superb! Grazie millie! Until next time.

Nice pizza and good service! We were the only customer when we arrived so the food came fast and were delicious. Friendly staff and very reasonable price in the area! Music was a bit loud at the outside but it is okay once you at in.

Great place and atmosphere, amazing food and wines. The service was below avarage, but the food made up for it.

Very good pizza, it’s a must try if you find yourself in Mattera and are looking for a break and a snack.

This place was popular! It may be useful to make a reservation. I could get in as a solo traveller just before their dinner rush.

Honestly, we were surprised by the overall balance of this beautiful place!

Food+People+Design=5* We were 4 people (2kids) and we got an excellent service, and balanced with price comparing with all surrounding "tourist" places... we do really recommend it!!...And don't be afraid to explore all the details of the interior space!

I had the Pizza "Sizilia" and it was the pest Pizza I've ever had. My boyfriend had the Pizza "Calabria" and it was also very delicious. The service was also great.

Great restaurant with outside seating in a picturesque little courtyard.

We had excellent pizza and some local craft beers to go with them. Service was quick and attentive. Prices absolutely fair.
