I come here regularly when I'm in town! Bruno and Lucio are amazing and the passage of time doesn't make any changes to this place! I recently moved abroad and used their online shipping service too!

Delivery was great! I got their new selection of liquors and I highly recommend it! Especially their Vermouth has a very unique taste! Something everyone should try ! Of course I bought Vermouth, Gin and Bitter to prepare at home my special Negroni! GIVE IT A TRY!

Great wine shipping! I have been in Volterra visiting, had here a fab wine tasting and ordered some wine including the unmissable Brunello! Everything arrived in perfect condition and in time! I'm always worried when it comes to wine/liquors shipping but this time I had a good experience! Highly recommend this! (I live in London)

Great, generous, informative Bartender. Had the tipi 3 drink treating. Bartender choose great variety, including Brunello del Maontalcino (quite expensive). Wanted to buy a bottle of Chianti and we tested three additional winners. Small, intimate place.

Piccolissima enoteca nel centro storico di Volterra di grandissima qualità all'interno si trova la linea di gin "spiriti del bosco" che è stata sviluppata andando a riprendere una antica tradizione risalente all'epoca di Leopoldo II granduca di Toscana. I due incaricati e soci del locale sono bravissimi a raccontare la storia dei prodotti che nascono su forti basi erboristiche. Il prodotto top è il gin toscano. Le degustazioni vengono organizzate in piccoli gruppi dato la ridotta dimensione del locale. "La vena di vino" è aperta tutti i giorni interrottamente dal mattino alle 11 fino all'una di notte, è sempre possibile mangiare qualcosa, accompagnandolo ad un buon calice. Piccola nota folkloristica: il soffitto dell'ingresso addobbato con i reggiseni delle clienti.

Devo ringraziare la pioggia provvidenziale di oggi che mi ha fatto scoprire questo posto meraviglioso dove ho trovato calore e simpatia fin da subito.. Cucina tipica, piatti semplici di una volta, prodotti genuini e di qualità. Entri e ti senti a casa, tra amici.
Spero di poterci tornare presto.

Wir haben dieses kleine Restaurant in unserem Urlaub besucht, denn wir wollten überprüfen, ob es wirklich den besten Gin anbietet. Wir haben Gin Tonic sowie Negroni probiert und beides war sehr gut. Ein kleiner Plausch mit dem Inhaber und wir haben uns für zu Hause noch eine Flasche Gin mitgenommen. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder vorbei. 🙋‍♂

Allein um hier einmal so richtig gepflegt zu versacken, werden wir bei unserer nächsten Toskana-Reise in Volterra übernachten! Stammkneipen-Potential bei 100 %! Sehr nette Inhaber, fantastisches Essen und noch bessere Getränke. Eigene Gin-Linie und mehr. Wir haben einen Martini mit nach Hause genommen, der so gut ist, dass er streng rationiert wird. Rundum absolut empfehlenswert!

Abbiamo pranzato in questo bel locale in 4. Tagliere misto salumi e formaggi e il lampredotto in zimino, accompagnato da un ottimo vernaccia di San Gimignano della casa. Prezzi onesti. Sottofondo musicale anni sessanta. Il sole la terra e la loro luna hanno fatto il resto! Consigliato!

Location molto particolare ed affascinante, ideale per stare in compagnia. Abbiamo pranzato in una vecchia cantina, veramente molto bella. Personale gentilissimo e simpatico. Cibo semplice e molto gustoso. Il top per un ritrovo tra vecchi amici.
