Great experience in Gelateria la Scogliera !

We had a morning coffee after coming to visit Monterrosso, service was fast and the food is great.
I recommend Honey pancake with macchiato latte.

The view is amazing, on one side mountains and on the other the sea.

Oddly a good ice cream place - I thought it was a tourist trap vendor - but the gelato was really good! Cappuccino was also good, got a nice table with a view. Not expensive at all.

Best gelato I’ve ever had (get the cinque terra). I will have dreams about this place and hope to meet it again :)

Really lovely ice cream, probably the best we’ve had in Italy so far. Great especially great reward after completing the Levantine and Monterosso hike. Currently able to sit on tables on the road and look out onto the beach and sea. Allowed us to use the clean tiny toilet in the back.

One of the few places around you can get an Affogato. Nice seating overlooking the water with umbrellas. Perfect for a hot day!

Not only in Monterosso, definetely one of the best gelato in all Italy. You must try!

Seriously delicious gelato is what you should expect here! The dark chocolate is amazing and exactly what I've always wanted in my gelato. The stracciatella has a wonderful balance of vanilla and chocolate shavings. It holds its form just long enough before melting in the summer heat. Prices are crazy cheap at €2.50 for a small which comes with two scoops. They're perfect for any day. This is located in a major tourist path but their flavors are legit. Staff does speak English but might be a little distant and short.

Best ice cream in Monterosso! With a lovely view.

I’ve been seeking out the best gelato in Italy, this very creamy and tasty flavours. We tried crema di 5 terre, pistachio, stracciatella, mascarpone and caramel, strawberry, and mango. Favourites were strawberry, mango, pistacchio, and stracciatella. But all were very creamy and tasty.

Best gelato & cocktails in Monterosso for sure! We have had a couple of negroni and margaritas - they were quick to serve and seat us, the cocktails were generous when it comes to alcohol, the gelato was as well HUGE, and they also brought us tapas - salami, crisps, homemade pesto and fresh bread (as a complimentary from the restaurant). The cocktails were just 7 EUR and the view was priceless - on the main street right at the sea. We went around 8PM and enjoyed the beautiful sunset while enjoying their nice authentic music. I tried the Sicilian gelato with orange and lemon peels - it's a must try!

The other gelato place near the beach was too crowded so walked over to this one to grab a cup of gelato. My partner wanted a coffee flavoured one but they didn’t have that haha. I got a cannoli flavoured one and a dark pistachio one. Both flavours were really good! This place is small with limited flavours but perfect for our short trip to Monterosso.

I am not sure if this is the best ice cream place in town but it just might be! Honestly not sure how much gelato I have eaten while being on holiday here, but it was excellent!

The service is fast and you also get a little waffle stuck into your gelato as an extra bonus. I believe they have some more variation of flavours then the other places and I have seen them swap it over some days. However this place does get quite a large queue so you might feel like walking down to the opposite side of the tunnel and getting your cone at another ice cream place (Gelateria Monterosso Il Golosone) 💁‍♀

Excelente ice cream. Not so many flavors but really good ones. Ordered stracciatella and nucciola and both were amazing. Paid 3.50 euros for the regular cup.

As someone who comes to Monterosso every year, I can finally say that I have found a good gelato place. They have by far the best ice cream in town, although the competition is not really worth much. They are very nice and also take credit cards even for small transactions, which should be mandatory but other places do not comply, so kudos for that as well.

I ate here every day. The texture of the gelato was incredible, the portions were good and the staff were nice. My husband and I felt that the fragola was a little bland, but the limone...I will dream about.

I was walking by looking for a place to buy a cocktail and found the best place in town! I came back several times! The gelato is AMAZING! Try the Cremino one! Several gelatos in Italy and this one has been my favorite overall!
Must try!

Amazing gelato! The only downside is that they only allow you to taste one flavour before deciding which one to pick. We got the Limone and Cremino (loooots of Nutella on it), just perfect for a hot day by the sea.
