The trail itself is mostly steep climb, but views are worth it. If you decide to take it, I suggest an early start as possible as it might get very hot and there is little shade if you plan to reach higher places. We started at 6 and only met a couple people during our climb.

Really nice place to hike and visit to see the entire western section of the peninsula and Capri. The path is narrow and, in some places, very steep. From the road to a rocky outcrop near the summit, it's a good 500m of ascent.
Coming down from that area, back to the road and a Christian Cross, is again narrow and a bit tricky in places. There is plenty of volcanic ash stones (very light and porous) all over the path near the top. Makes it quite slippery. Lots of wildlife to look out for.

Steep incline to the panoramic viewpoint at the top. This was considered one of our most challenging hikes in the Amalfi but it's definitely doable, it will get you sweating but it's worth it! Enjoy the stunning views!

A very cool and exerting hike to go on. I did it for sunset, though I know it is known for sunrise. I could still see a little bit of it over Positano and the colors were very beautiful afterwards. I’d suggest bringing a flashlight, even though I didn’t really need one as the path back is mainly a road, it’s much safer.

Which brings me to another point, if you’re not up for more rigorous hiking I’d suggest taking the way “back” from the circuit both ways. As it is primarily a road over half way to the turn around point. Especially if you plan to go for sunrise this seems like the much safer option to start with as well, and then you could decide to return the more rigorous way after you watch it.

Overall though, the views were beautiful over Agerola and seeing the coastline of Amalfi towards Positano. The mountain at the end was just beautiful as well. And if you’re observant towards the end you might see, what I think is the rubble of a rock struck by lightning. Definitely would recommend!

Wonderful evening solo hike, recommended by our host from the B&B Nido Verde (best place to stay!!). We were there in early September.

We had the whole track for ourselves and the perfect sunset. The view from the top was absolutely amazing with both sides of the Amalfi coast visible and Capri in the background. Very easy hike up there if you are a good hiker (they say 1.30hours but it took us half that time). The hike down in the dark was perfectly manageable with the phone’s flashlight.

100% must do, especially if you do not have time for the path of the gods, main advantages: 1) Much shorter 2) Less warm 3) Les crowded and last but not least 4) the views are as good as on the whole hike and if you do it on the evening you can enjoy the sunset (the pictures speak for themselves).

Very beautiful scenery. The circular trail isn't very long, as a family with kids we completed it within 3.5 hours. But the climb at the start is pretty challenging, though the view from the top make it worthwhile.

Start involves a lot steps then road before the hill trail. This is fairly easy to start but more difficult as you approach the top. A few hand helps are required. The down side is easier but you have the steps down back into the town.

Great hike, on of the best I did, because it’s not an easy one, especially when it’s raining. You can do this with big children as well.

Circuit of tre Calli is one of the best walks I have ever been on. 10km , steep going up but steady coming back down. Amazing views all the way

One of the most beautiful hike I have ever done! The 360 view at the top is absolutely stunning. The path can be very steep at some places so make sure you wear proper shoes. It took me about 3 hours but I walked slowly (cause it was a veryyy hot day) and stayed at the top for a while.

The stunning views are worth the rigorous climb up and then back down. It is a harder hike than the Path of the Gods but you see more and further.
Bring a jacket as it can be windy up there.

Take a picture of the map. This is not the same trail as the typical walk of the gods
