Country House Casale Centurion

We enjoyed a wonderful cooking class at Casale Centurione. The location and house are beautiful. We loved the way Giulia is keeping the traditional pasta making methods alive and her commitment to sourcing all her ingredients from local farmers in the area.

Giulia was an excellent teacher making the whole experience a lot of fun. The day concluded with Giulia and her husband preparing a beautiful dinner with the pasta we made and with their own special ingredients.

It was a highlight of our holiday and we highly recommend Giulia’s school and Casale Centurione

Our stay at Giulia's place in Abruzzo was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled near the stunning Majella National park, this authentic place offered the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. The apartment is modest but very comfortable, providing everything needed for a relaxing stay.

Giulia is an outstanding host—always cheerful, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of the region. She provided excellent recommendations for hiking trails and fantastic local restaurants, ensuring that we experienced the best of Abruzzo. Each morning, Julia prepared delightful breakfasts made from fresh farm products, tailored to our tastes, and accompanied by superb Italian coffee. She also served wonderful homemade pastries that added an extra touch of warmth and comfort to the mornings.

This was an authentic Italian farmhouse experience. The geographical features are Tuscany like and surrounded by beautiful small villages, vineyards, and olive farms. This property offers fantastic farmhouse hospitality, good accommodation, excellent traditional Abruzzo pasta making technique. You get to sample local cold cuts, cheese, wines, and olive oils. The farm covers four acres with many produce. Their wine and olive oil are not for sale. We were lucky to have sampled all the hard work of the owner, Giulia and her wonderful pasta making workshop. During the workshop, we had wine and coffee. Of course we got to enjoy a superb antipasti and the our very own hand made pasta as our main dish later in the evening. Giulia and her family are very hospitable. This is a little gem not to be missed in Abruzzo region.

Our stay at Casale Centurione was incredible! Giulia and her family are such wonderful hosts and the breakfast was always delicious. Rooms were clean, comfortable and had an incredible view. Giulia went out of her way to help us find the best spots around Abruzzo to visit with her incredible knowledge of the region. Because of her our stay in Abruzzo has been the highlight of our trip. Giulia is an amazing host, very kind and helpful. She did her best to help us organize any activity we looked for.
The breakfast is incredible, the house is very nice, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for the month of September 2016 visiting the area. My wife's family is from Cugnoli, which is nearby. Giulia was absolutely fantastic. The accommodations were comfortable and close to places of interest. We ate often at the attached restaurant and had plenty of outstanding food. Giulia even taught my wife how to make Ravioli from scratch. We truly had a wonderful experience at the Country House Casale Centurion and can recommend it to anyone!

Our stay here was incredible! My family and I were staying for a wedding in the area and I wanted to find a place that offered cooking classes. I had no idea that Giulia offered classes and much more here.

Not only was there cooking but everything you could possibly want in an Italian farm stay was offered. Amazing views, grapes growing on the vine, homemade dessert, pasta, wine, jam, and much much more! Giulia and her family were amazing hosts.

This place is an 11 out of 10 and I highly recommend staying! Best hotel/AirBnb experience I have ever had!

A beautiful setting and gorgeous, authentic home.

I attended a cooking class organized by the owner of the b&b and I found it awesome. The service is friendly and I got to prepare, cook and eat traditional local dishes made with local ingredients. Best experience in a long time!👍

Il luogo ideale come base e che accoglienza!
Con la mia amica quest'anno abbiamo deciso di esplorare l'Abruzzo.
Giulia & family ci hanno accolto in maniera attenta e generosa.
La loro casa di campagna gode di pace e tranquillità, ma è anche vero che in 15/30 minuti raggiungi abazie, eremi e angoli preziosi.
Camera luminosa (con a/c) e letto comodissimo.
Durante la colazione, che propone dolci fatti in casa (dalle ferratelle alla crostata must ricotta e marmellata), yogurt e cereali, frutta fresca e bruschette con olio e pomodoro, ci si conosce e si diventa amiche di Giulia, che, con sguardo attento e sorriso gentile, si racconta e ti coccola, elargendo consigli su cosa fare e come trascorrere i nostri 5gg in Abruzzo.
Apprezzatissimi anche i suggerimenti per la cena.
Insomma, la loro casa di campagna diventa anche un po' la nostra.

Il posto è stupendo, immerso nella campagna Abruzzese, tra ulivi, vigneti e alberi da fico!
Il Casale è bellissimo e le camere curatissime e pulite.

Le colazioni e la loro mise en place creano felicità già nel momento in cui ti avvicini al tavolo. Sono gioia pura.

I proprietari Giulia e Gianluca sono delle persone squisite.

La Casale Centurione est un havre de paix. Niché sur les collines les chambres offrent une vue imprenable sur le Gran Sasso, elles sont grandes et bien entretenues. Les petits déjeuner son variés et les conseils de Giulia très utile si vous souhaitez un restaurant où visiter la région. Les prix sont également très raisonnables. Un endroit que je recommande vivement.

Giulia e la sua famiglia persone stupende. Ti fanno sentire meglio che a casa! Esperianza unica nel fare la pasta fatta in casa con la supevisione di Giulia. Consiglio a tutti di provare una esperienza simile. Grazie ancora per tutto.

Fantastica location ai piedi della Majella vista stupenda, il luogo ideale per rilassarsi in aperta campagna. Ottima cucina a base di pridotti tipici locali e di produzione propria.Ospitalità top cordiale e creativa si organizzano infatti corsi di cucina e shabby chic.

Una bellissima struttura ristrutturata con grande cura, il personale è gentile, preparato e disponibile. Il luogo ideale per una vacanza in Abruzzo

Davvero un bel luogo: vale la pena percorrere tutta questa strada di campagna, si mangia molto bene e la location è caratterizzata da un' amenità unica❗❗❗
