Such a great experience… honestly a once in a lifetime opportunity to see how truffles are found. Mattia was so helpful and informative. His dogs are intelligent, well trained and incredibly clever. I think we found well over 100g of truffles and I took them home with me!

We will definitely go back without a doubt, they were so kind to give us recommendations of local food spots as well. They are definitely are our new friends in Vicchio and we will see them again once we go back :)

Our hotel recommended Mattia's truffle hunting session, and my friends and I had a chance to visit his property with his very sweet truffle-hunting dog at the end of our trip in Vicchio. We had such a great time running around as his dog hunted truffles, and Mattia was such a fun, friendly, and thoughtful host—he was kind enough to show us around his property and what he was working on, from truffles to wine to crops to everything in between. And we walked away with so many truffles, which we took to our hotel in Florence and ate with some fresh pasta. Highly recommend spending an afternoon with Mattia and his dog!

Vivo in Italia da oltre dieci anni e ho partecipato regolarmente a cacce al tartufo in diverse regioni. Tuttavia, l'esperienza con questa compagnia di caccia al tartufo ha superato ogni mia aspettativa. Prima di tutto, desidero ringraziare di cuore il cacciatore, una persona di rara competenza e passione. La sua conoscenza del territorio e l'abilità nel trovare i tartufi sono semplicemente straordinarie.

Non posso dimenticare di menzionare i veri eroi di questa avventura: i due cani da tartufo. Con il loro infallibile fiuto e l'incredibile energia, hanno reso la nostra caccia non solo fruttuosa, ma anche incredibilmente divertente.

La quantità di tartufi che abbiamo trovato è stata stupefacente: numerosi tartufi neri di eccellente qualità e alcuni pregiati tartufi bianchi. Ogni ritrovamento era un momento di gioia pura e di eccitazione.

Raccomando vivamente questa compagnia a chiunque desideri vivere un'avventura unica nel mondo del tartufo. La loro professionalità, cordialità e l'ambiente magico che sanno creare sono qualcosa che non dimenticherò mai. Grazie di cuore per un'esperienza indimenticabile!

La cerca del tartufo offerta da Mattia e i suoi cani è decisamente la vera cerca del tartufo al naturale. La riserva di Farabuia è bella, articolata, dinamica e dunque permette una caccia rustica, autentica, imprevedibile e appassionata. L’esperienza è valida non solo ai fini del tartufo in sé bensì anche per osservare il rapporto di collaborazione tartufaio-cane. Ciao Mattia, a presto!

Bellissima esperienza fatta con Mattia, suo padre e i loro cani da tartufo!
Abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata alla ricerca di tartufi. Seppur non fosse il miglior periodo abbiamo raccolto un bel bottino.
Mattia e suo padre sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno spiegato molto sul tartufo.

Wir hatten das Glück, Mattia mit seinem Hund Chablis auf Trüffelsuche begleiten zu dürfen. Was für ein eindrucksvolles Erlebnis: Wir haben viel über Trüffel gelernt, wie sie zubereitet werden, wie die Trüffelhunde trainiert werden und wo die Trüffel am liebsten wachsen und vieles mehr. Mattia ist ein sehr sympathischer, offener Mensch, der uns an seiner Passion teilhaben ließ. Ein unvergleichlicher Nachmittag in der herrlichen, toskanischen Landschaft.
Vielen, vielen Dank - das nächste Mal kommen wir zur Weinprobe!

Esperienza assolutamente da provare. Passeggiare nel bosco, tra i profumi delle erbe spontanee, con i cani impegnati nel loro lavoro è anche un ristoro per lo spirito, oltre al prezioso "bottino"con cui si torna a casa. Mattia fa con passione questo lavoro e riesce a trasmettere il suo entusiasmo perfettamente. Ci torneremo ogni volta che ci sarà possibile. Considero questa avventura come qualcosa di integrante per conoscere ancora meglio le sfumature della terra Mugellana.

Bell'esperienza. Mattia proprietario molto preparato, ci mette molta passione in quel che fa. La caccia al tartufo è un' esperienza assolutamente da provare, specialmente a chi piace stare nella natura. Ci tornerò sicuramente, soprattutto per assaggiare il vino!

Esperienza unica a contatto con la natura immersi nel verde dei boschi del Mugello, con la guida competente di Mattia che ha saputo trasmettere pienamente la sua passione per il tartufo e per il vino.

We hebben een ontzettend gave en unieke ervaring gehad met Mattia en Rocco. Veel geleerd over de truffels en ook naar huis gegaan met een zak vol truffels. Een aanrader dus!

Wir hatten einen tollen Vormittag zusammen bei der Trueffelsuche mit Mattia und seinem Vater. Uns wurde geduldig und anschaulich das wertvolle Produkt Trueffel erklaert und wir hatten viel Spass (auch die Kinder) bei der Suche danach mit den lieben Hunden. Das Essen mit dem gefunden Trueffel war einfach ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
