B&B Il Borgo delle Grazie

Honestly, what an absolute gem. It was literally like walking into a fairytale. The fact that it sits on a little vineyard and has an accessible veggie garden is just the cherry on top. So many little areas to sit around and enjoy the greenery and locally-made wine at aperitivo from. The owners and staff were so lovely and pleasant and accommodating. You could sincerely see the amount of hard work, passion and love that went into every piece of nook and cranny of the residence. We will certainly be back, but hopefully this time with a group of friends to book out the entire place! Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer. Fantastic memories to take on with us ❤

This was our first holiday in Italy and we have been looking for the perfect apartment for a long time. We found it with Paola and Heinz. The complex includes a residential building and three apartments. The location is fantastic. The farm is on a hill and from there you can see the whole town of Ovada. As soon as you enter the apartment you feel at home. Positives: fresh Italian pastries for breakfast, comfortable cotton sheets (no feather/pillows and blankets), fresh towels, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge is stocked with food for the first few days; in the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking and baking including salt, oil, vinegar and sugar; there are even tupperware for trips; for a little extra money you can buy coke, beer and wine. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning. The garden is incredibly beautiful and the herbs mingle with fruit trees and vines. You don't even notice that you're coming in from outside, because it smells just as nice inside! Paola and Heinz are very helpful, happy to give insider tips on the places of the excursions... (actually, you don't need any excursions, because there are enough of them) and even help with the table reservations. Negative: doesn't exist here :) PS: the house wine tastes fantastic and is a "must have"! Дякую!

The apartment is located on a hillside in a beautiful, well-kept garden. The view of the city and the river is simply fascinating! Photos are not able to convey the beauty of this place. The hospitality and care of Paola have no comparisons and analogies: they are excellent. Breakfasts were divine! If you want to enjoy the smell of lavender, to test the freshest, sun-warmed vegetables and fruits from the wonderful garden or just get into a fairy tale, then you need here. We will definitely come back here again.

All the reviews are true. Paola and Heinz are the best of the best of italian hospitality. And it's because they mix genuine big heart and soul with careful planning, though and experience. The little things: every bottle and sticker has their beautiful logo - it's not by chance! So I want to appreciate their hard work to keep this place on top of italian hospitality. And yes, one evening and one morning was enough to become friends. I will come back with my wife when that thing will happen we discussed.

We loved everything. Paola and Anna provided us not only with a delicious breakfast every morning with great quality organic products and fresh bread but also the best tips on where to visit, drink and eat out. The house is nicely decorated, very well equipped and clean and it is located on the top of a hill in a vineyard with an amazing view of Ovada. Perfect place to disconnect, enjoy nature and good food. We will certainly go back.

Paola is one of those people you meet in life who make this world a more beautiful place... I had the most lovely stay at a petit house, surrounded by quietness, wineyards, vegetable garden, flowers and an awesome orange cat who watched the sun set over Ovada with me. It felt like a reatreat after being in some bigger Italian towns. Paola makes sure her guests feel special and you can see in small details everywhere so much love and attention. Everything is taken care with so much heart. In the evening I sat together with some other guests and we ordered pizza together, a beautiful connection developed! In the morning I could get back to my Yoga Routine at the terasse. I want to come back one day and stay for a bit longer. Thank you for everything!!

Lovely B&B surrounded by a paradise-like garden. Caring host that attended to all our wishes and made reservations for us. Close to Ovada which has a nice selection of bars and restaurants. Good breakfast. Hygiene was 10/10.

It is not possible to list all the beautiful features of this paradise. The place is just amazing; beautifully decorated, immersed in nature and surrounded by flowers🌻,trees 🌳vineyards 🍇 and a superb allotment of fresh vegetables 🥬🥒🍅that you are welcome to pick and consume as you wish.
Paola and her staff are very friendly and welcoming and everything is designed to make you feel at home and valued; warm bread and focaccia are delivered every morning at 8am by the best baker in town. 😋
Paola is the perfect host and I would definitely recommend this place especially if you wish to relax and detox and rebalance your energy. Although very quiet and secluded, it is yet close to Ovada for shopping and restaurants. The near village Castelletto d’Orba offers a public swimming 🏊‍♀ pool with slides and water park features suitable also for little children. If you want instead to enjoy the nature you can sunbath and swim at the near by river Le Rocchette. At a walks distance the village of Tagliolo presents a beautiful castle 🏰 that is worthy of visiting. If you wish for some shopping 🛍 therapy there is one of the best designer outlets in Serravalle Scrivia, 20 minutes by car. When back , you can enjoy a glass of chilled Prosecco 🍾🥂watching the sunset 🌄from your private garden.

How can I give this more than 5 stars? The host is awesome, cares genuinly about her guests and has the cutest garden of fresh fruits and veggies. The house is clean, cozy and comfortable. Around the place there are various little seats where you can drink a coffee, home blend tea or home made wine (yes, there are grapevines everywhere and the host produces her own wine; how cool is that?!). In addition (there is even more), the host known the area like her back pocket and is super helpfull by giving good recommendations, making reservations and even making sure there is a bag of fresh foccacia every day!! 10 points out of 5 if you ask me.

Fully furnished cottages are in the hill lands just above the city. Charming, clean and comfortable place to stay. Very nice owners have gardens, vineyards and so many other things to walk around and see. English is no problem, we are planning our next trip there.

Tre casette, belle, molto curate immerse nel verde di un giardino meraviglioso, la direzione è super ospitale e disponibile, vicino al mare, ma relax totale.. ci tornerò!

Three small indipendent beautiful country houses, very classy and posh, a very romantic garden around and the host is a very special and welcoming person. It's close to the sea, but also with a very relaxing atmosphere.. I will surely be back!

...problem is that “5” is top of the range score...so in order to give the ranking a proper sense, we should downgrade all Paola’s competitors in Monferrato down to 4 or even 3!

O lugar é maravilhoso, um pequeno pedaço do paraíso. Os detalhes, a decoração, o cuidado, as flores, tudo simplesmente maravilhoso. Heinz foi super atencioso e prestativo. Foi uma despedida maravilhosa da Itália que Deus nos preparou.

Siamo venuti a conoscenza di questo delizioso posto a seguito di un guasto dell’auto, dopo un’intera giornata di difficolta. Ritrovarsi a scoprire una piccola casetta dal gusto provenzale immersa tra i vigneti, i roseti, le erbe aromatiche e la lavanda è stato a dir poco una bellissima emozione. La sera è stato molto rilassante cenare nel piccolo e caratteristico dehor con vista sul paesino sottostante. Casa molto curata, nei minimi particolari, pulita munita di ogni confort. A completar il tutto una gentilezza, cordialità e disponibilità della signora Paola che è stata davvero comprensiva venendo incontro ad ogni nostra difficoltà. Molto piacevole la passeggiata tra i profumi del “Borgo delle Grazie “… e delle Meraviglie!!! Tutto perfetto…
