Santantonio Resort SAR - Hotel - Ristorante

Can’t recommend this place enough! I recently had the pleasure of staying in one of their incredible Etna view rooms, the room was well furnished and incredibly comfortable. We also were able to celebrate an important family birthday at the hotel. The owners kindly organised it all and made it a night to remember for my whole family for years to come. From the food to the views and hospitality throughout my stay this is the spot in Sicily I will be coming back to for years to come. Thank you to the owners and the staff for making us feel like friends and family.

Beautiful resort. The rooms are nicely furnished with attention to detail. The pool and outdoor areas are stunning with refreshing water after a hot day of exploring. The staff are kind, courteous and accommodating. Dining at the restaurant was peaceful and food was delicious. Breakfast with many choices and a great way to start your day. Great location with beautiful views of Etna and the sea. 1 hour drive to Mont Etna, close to both Taormina and Catania. Sad to be leaving, don’t think twice - book your stay here.

Just back from a 14 day stay and we are already missing the tranquility and warmth of this small family-run hotel. The owners and wonderful team are always attentive to details, and no request is ever felt a bother. Special call-outs to Evelyne, Paola and Elena who looked after us most of the time and are an absolute joy.

The front is literally 10-15m from the sea, so sitting to enjoy a meal or cocktail or watching the sunrise is complemented by the relaxing sound of the waves. The rear though is even more stunning with a mini lake-style pool in beautiful garden surrounds and overlooked by the majesty of an ever-smoking Etna!

The catering is excellent with a menu that offers just the right balance and choice. The Chef uses only premium local produce to present fine-dining standard dishes. Normally we would never simply stay in a hotel to eat, but after a couple of days eating out and being underwhelmed we decided to eat in - as choice and quality was perfect.

To cap it off the owner is very proud of the selection of granite offered, which are all made on-site. On a couple of occasions he brought me over a new sample to taste. In my experience, the best granite are found on the coast line between Messina and Catania, and SAR certainly maintains the expectation of a super granita.

We did walk to the adjoining towns but didnt find them particularly beautiful so we preferred to jump on a train and easily visit Catania or Taormina along the coast. The owners son Andrea happily drove/picked us up from the station which is too far to walk.

If you want 7-10 days of peace and tranquility, without sight-seeing, I cannot recommend SAR highly enough. Alternatively if you are driving and want a base for a long weekend, then again the resort hits the spot.

Loved our time here. The hotel is immaculate and everything is done to a great spec. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. We were with our children who loved the pool area, the pool is amazing. The town is close by and a good base to see Etna, Taormina and Catania. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area, should be 5 star!

I’ve been here for 16 days and I feel sad to go. The staff, owner and his family members treated me as a queen. They did everything possible so that I had the best experience. Everything was always clean and beautiful. The food was amazing. Above all, the staff is incredible: hard workers, always smiling. They do everything with love which from my stand point of view, is the number one requisite to be magnificent in whatever you do. I will miss them very much. I recommend this place 100% and will come again in the near future.

very good experience, friendly staff, immaculate rooms, great pool area and really quiet for relaxing. Special mention to Luca in the restaurant and bar, really nice man nothing was a problem. Food was excellent really good quality and very good prices. Highly recommend this place for a good quiet break.

Great hotel!! Gret service, great stuff especially the waiters. A weekend to definitely to remember. The owners are very helpful, they even went to buy for us some pills from the pharmacy. A 5 star service!!

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo splendido resort, che a nostro avviso meriterebbe una quarta stella. L'hotel è di recente ristrutturazione. La camera vista mare è meravigliosa ed ha un bel balconcino sul mare. Gli spazi comuni esterni sono molto curati, la piscina è idilliaca e la pulizia ineccepibile. Colazione di prima qualità, molto apprezzato l'apparecchio per fare i centrifugati. Siamo stati molto bene e torneremo senz'altro! Unica pecca gli asciugacapelli sono davvero miseri, e per chi come me ha i capelli lunghi è un problema asciugarli dopo una giornata di mare o piscina. Personalmente ho preferito acquistarne uno migliore privatamente. Per il resto nulla da segnalare. Da provare senz'altro! Complimenti!

Nous avons passé 1 semaine à l'hôtel fin août, 1 couple sans enfants 30 ans. Hôtel super propre, très calme (avec son peu de chambres). Personnel aux petits soins, souriant et super service. Chambre très propre, et correspondent aux photos! Avec un passage tous les jours pour les draps etc. De bons conseils pour les excursions et balades, sans pousser à la consommation. Excellent petit déjeuner, service génial. Excellent mojito, piscine magnifique dans un cadre idyllique avec sa vue sur l'Etna. L'hôtel a un emplacement stratégique : environnement calme mais proche de tout (avec une voiture)
Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Splendida Location, di recente ristrutturazione, curata nei minimi particolari posizionata difronte al mare, con parcheggio privato. E' dotata di una bellissima piscina rasa, che tuttavia data la stagione non ho utilizzato, nonché di parco curatissimo molto ampio.

La mia camera godeva di una bellissima vista fronte mare, spaziosa, silenziosa, con terrazzino, e letto comodissimo, bagno pulitissimo con doccia moderna dotata di getti idromassaggio. Il personale è stato delizioso ed estremamente professionale in tutto. Ottimo ristorante con menu di alta cucina tipica siciliana. La colazione era a buffet internazionale dal dolce al salato, estremamente abbondante.

Albergo meraviglioso con una meravigliosa piscina con vista Etna e con camere vista mare davvero spettacolari. Letti comodissimi. Pulizia impeccabile. Un ambiente silenzioso e rilassante.

La posizione è strepitosa per raggiungere le maggiori città della zona orientale della Sicilia.

Sehr schönes Haus direkt am Meer. Andere Seite mit Blick auf den Etna. Zimmer sehr modern. Alles tippi toppi. Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Man sitzt morgens auf der Terrasse und hat ein leckeres Frühstück. Alle Zimmer mit Balkon. Sehr ruhig. Tollen Aussenbereich. Fussläufig kann man zum Ort. Eine wunderschöne Oase

Super , super , super resort și de o calitate a serviciilor ireproșabilă , cu o grădină și piscină de neegalat, superbe, un resort care depășește cu mult cele 4 stele, excelent și felicitări celor care au realizat asta. Ps: sunt doar 12 camere, intimitatea este garantată!

Gentilissimi, colazione eccezionale, camere e piscine bellissime. Rapporto qualita’ prezzo fuori dalla norma. Solo un dettaglio: nn si riesce a fare il bagno di fronte, ci sono scogli troppo grandi. A 5 minuti di bici!
