Taormina Garden Hotel

We stayed in the Taormina Garden Hotel for one night and wish we stayed more.

The location is great as the gondola and the interbus station is across the road. There’s private access to a public beach where you don’t need to hire a sunbed and have fewer beach salesmen.

The service is outstanding! We chose to eat at the hotel for the night and the chef, I think his name was David, was a superstar. He did it all himself that evening; cooking, waiting and bartending. He was so charismatic and professional. When each dish was bought out he eloquently gave an explanation of them. The food was amazing and authentic Sicilian. If you’ve been travelling for a while sometimes all you feel like is a home cooked meal. This is exactly what was provided.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we are still raving about how adorable and authentic this place is. Our best to the lovely team at Taormina Garden Hotel!

We visited this place 2 years ago, and we are still talking about this beautiful place. We had so much fun with the host. They made the best pasta in town. Breakfast was great! Walking distance to beach. Rooms were clean. We really recommend this place and will be coming back sometime!

We had a perfect stay! Room is basic but very clean. We daily recieved new towels. We had dinner at the hotel and the chef adjusted it for us so we could eat vegetarian. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Taormina, very fresh and tasty! The location of the hotel is perfect, it’s less than a 5 minute walk to the lift into the town, and the hotel as a little path right to the beach. Would recommend this hotel 100%!

The staff is super friendly and the hotel is lovely! The room is simple but the garden is beautiful and has a private access to the public beach. Highly recommended! Great breakfast!

Had an excellent 2 night stay here. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The evening meal we had in the restaurant was stunning and well worth it.

I would definitely stay again and would recommend.

5 stars because this hotel is the best cost x benefit in Taormina. Great place very close to the beach. Gianluca and Angelo are amazing and so friendly. I celebrated my wedding anniversary there and was gifted a breakfast.

Of course it's not a 5 star hotel but again, it's the best for the budget.

The room is kept very clean.
Location is very close to the cable car and to the highway.
It's even close to isola bella.
They serve dinner if you book it.
Free easy parking (a valuable commodity in Taormina).

If I had to give any suggestion to Gianluca, just install a better toilet flush in room #1 because it's leaking 😅

Other than that, thank you very much for the pleasant stay!

Its a very good 2-star hotel ideally located between beach and cablecar to the center. Rooms were equipped with all basic necessities and clean. The owner family is very welcoming and friendly and is the third star by themselves.

The garden is really nice and you can enjoy some spectacular views. They have a private access to the nearby beach. Also, parking is available at very reasonable rates. They also offered a very attractive local dinner menu. Highly recommended, will come back definitely.

This is probably the best place to stay in Taormina! They are surrounded by 5* hotels but real stars (meaning their family) lies here!

STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The staff, the hospitality, the location right beside the beach Lido Di Pigna. Also a very close walk to Isola Bella. Angelo is the best host in Taormina and will make your vacation. He goes above and beyond for all of his guests. He is an excellent cook and caters to dietary preferences. The breakfast is plentiful with many options. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay during our trip to Taormina. Angelo and Gianluca were friendly, wonderful hosts. We stayed in a "superior room" which was spacious and comfortable. An excellent breakfast is included and featured Italian meats and cheese, scrambled eggs, assorted breads, pastries, and fresh fruit. They also serve an optional dinner (for hotel guests only) on a lovely terrace. The hotel is a short walk to the cable car to upper Taormina, a great alternative to driving up the mountain. Highly recommended!

Steal of Taormina. I honestly can't rate this place highly enough. You are not staying at a hotel, you are staying as Angelo's personal guest. The staff seriously care about this place and it shows. Gianluca and all the staff clearly like their work and are amazing at it too.

Great facilities, great staff, great food and very, very clean.

You can't walk away from this place without having a smile plastered across your face. I honestly don't understand how they have managed to get it all so right without being one of the most expensive places in town.

We had three kids with us and they were made to feel very welcome.

My advice is book it. My advice is to tip the staff. My advice is to tell your friends about it, but only the ones you like.

An excellent place to stay in Taormina!

The hotel was very clean and cozy, and there was everything that I needed. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and communication worked well with them. Location is also really nice, -the beach is right next to the hotel and the centre of Taormina is also near.

Delicious and diverse breakfast in the sunny garden was the cherry on the top! 👌

In my life I’ve stayed in multiple 5 star hotels and resorts. I have to say this hotel is and will be my most memorable. My thoughts of the time I spent there and in Taormina still make me smile. The family that run the hotel are pleasingly unique.
The location and private access to the beach is a bonus. The home cooked meals the staff and the serenity of the property is outstanding. On arrival don’t have an expectation just let the place sink into you.

My quote to you is. “You can’t buy memories”

We stayed there for the whole week. This is the best family-style hotel you want from Taormina.

It has an excellent private way to the beach (it is small) but under 10 mins on foot to other beaches.

If you want to have the best local Sicilian food - their stuff Angelo won’t let you down. He cooks the best!

I strongly recommend to everyone who wants to visit Taormina to stay and have the full experience!

The staff is so nice and friendly and willing to think along with you. Very big plus!! The food in the restaurant of the Taormina Garden Hotel is all freshly prepared and tastes great. The cook is also very friendly and made a vegetarian dish specially for us. Definitely try a dinner here.

We asked for a quite room and got a really quite room. The only thing I didn't really like was that the room was pretty dark, because we had only 1 window and 1 light.

The location is perfect! There is a stairs in the garden to the beach (3 minute walk). The cablecar to Taormina city is just 5 minutes away (3€). Also the view is very nice. On one side you can see the sea and on the other side are the mountains.

In my 15 days traveling around southern Italy, staying in 7 hotels, the service at Taormina Garden was the best. They are kind, knowledgeable, super helpful- perfect! I loved the location by the beach and the quick walk to the funicular for the center. My room was comfortable, cool and quiet. Breakfast was good, wifi was good. My biggest regret is that I didn't plan this part of my trip- I really wish I would have stayed here longer. Next time!

Taormina Garden Hotel ia a little gem of Taormina. Very close to the beach with a private entrance to it to make a short walk. Lots of space around the hotel to sit and enjoy their garden full of trees and plants which they are looking after on daily basis. And most importantly the team with Gianluca and Angelo at the front of course as they will always make sure you feel relaxed, welcome and you enjoy every moment of your stay at the hotel. Massive reccomendation to add the dinner to your stay as everything is fresh daily, picked up straight from their garden where they plant their vegetables, herbs and fruits and all you need is just to put some trust to it as there is no set everyday menu which is just cool thing to experience and you won't be dissapointed! I really hope I will come back there again as my parents are already planning there stay there too :)

Guys running the place, Gianluca and Angelo were super hosts; they cared deeply for us, even when it turned out one of my fiends is stomach-sick. The garden, food and atmosphere created by people working there is… we felt like long awaited family :) I definitely recommend the place!
