Taormina Park Hotel

This was our second time returning and it was even better than before. This is a perfect Sicilian hotel. Its got lovely big rooms, spotless facilities and service like no other. Its far enough from the centre to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to stroll into town in around 10 minutes. I cant wait to return again in the future.

Great location, great views, lovely room cleaning staff, especially Gisele. We came for 3 nights and had a wonderful time.

1. Accomodating. The hotel accommodated our request to add another bed/person to our booking, which they did with no problem, which was amazing and appreciated.

2. Little dated. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms and hotel are a little dated, but if you don't mind this, don't let that full you as everything was cleaned and otherwise well looked after.

3. Accommodating. After check out at 11am, we were able to still use the facilities and showers located on the 1st floor, which is super great as we had to then take the bus to the airport for a 9pm flight. This was super great as we were able to make the most of our holiday.

4. Location was the best. You have the amazing park which you can take as a route to the centre where all the restaurants, shops and Teatre is located and you have beautiful views witin the park. You can also walk up to viewpoint that overlooks Isobella beach, take the stairs down to the beach (666 steps down (or up) and quite hot in the heat) and you can take the cable cart too, and you are 9min walk from the bus terminal. All from this hotel.

5. 90% of staff were friendly, which is lovely. However, we did come across a few situations where we felt a little awkward, but we blamed it on the language barrier. To mentioned one, the young lady at the reception appeared not too bothered when we asked about the arrangements to the beach transfer. However, after us asking if she was feeling okay, she seemed more helpful.

For the price you pay, it's an amazing bargain and we had a lovely stay with Taormina Park Hotel.

We had our best honeymoon time at Taormina Park Hotel, the rooms are clean and stylish, and the staff is very helpful. You cannot beat the views that you get from your balcony! Grazie mille!!❤❤

I really don’t know why other people have moaned so much on the reviews. I was just completely spellbound by the architecture of the hotel building and the interiors paired with the stunning panoramic view that ranges from etna mountain, Taormina town and the shoreline, maybe I don’t get out much but this kept my spirits so high that I had such an amazing trip.

I stayed in the deluxe room which has been newly built so maybe I had an advantage because my room was new, clean and had everything I needed. It didn’t have a seaview but when I opened my curtains I could see blossom and mountain range. I also just drank the tap water as Italy has the best tap water in the world - I’m still here to tell the tale! :)

The staff were friendly and spoke English, helping me whenever I needed it.

The breakfast was tasty, the scrambled eggs were cooked well, the continental was minimal but I had fresh tomatoes with olive oil drizzled over it and fresh bread one morning and yoghurt with peaches and chia seeds the next. Chocolate croissant was nice and plenty of Sicilian style baked goodies

The location is just fabulous as you can walk 2 minutes to the Park, 5 minutes to the restaurants and 10 minutes to Greek Ampitheatre. If you come out of the hotel and turn left and carry on walking straight for 10 minutes you also reach the cable car which carries you all the way down to Isola Bella for €10 return (worth it)! And the bus stop which is 200m from the hotel takes you to and from the airport for €5 which you can purchase tickets online via omio and have a digital QR code ticket.

We had an ocean view room with a large terrace. Room was comfortable; there are signs of wear. Excellent location across from Taormina Park and covered parking available for 15 euros/day. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice to do touristy activities in the morning and relax by the pool in afternoon.

If you have any doubts: book this hotel! Yes the rooms might seem a little dated (which a personally think has it's charm), but don't let that fool you: the hotel, the pool, the terrace, everything is spotless, super clean en very well maintained. The pool is beautiful, the sunbeds comfortable and the staff (it felt like a family runned hotel) was very kind, helpful and they really understand what hospitality means. In my opinion this is really a hidden gem. I would personally go back to Sicily just to visit this place.

Great location next to the beautiful gardens. Also closer to the beach and island. Staff are kind, pool is lovely as is the jacuzzi. Even a small gym overlooking the sea. Room was huge with beautiful views. Really pleasantly surprised and would stay again if we return to Taormina

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and best experiences in Italy.
Starting from the beautiful design of the cappuccino cups, beautiful big room with the best view of Taormina and finishing with very nice people that work in this hotel… everything is amazing here! The vibe, the pool are amazing here… the best cappuccino made by Giuseppe and the best pizza made by Andrea!

Excellent hotel, with a great view. Staff on reception is excellent, always willing to help. And of course the restaurant, you have to try it. Excellent Chief doing really magic, you really have to try hand made pasta....

The best place to stay in Taormina and enjoy the vibe. Taormina Park Hotel offers the real Sicilian experience, that we all looking for when traveling. The terrace views are unbelievably beautiful and we can spend lots of time in the hotel, without the crowns, and still have better views. The hotel is on the side with Etna, the moon rising can be seen from the balcony.
Some other stuff: the hotel is art nouveau, the charming Italian style. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable for long stays.

Position: I think the accommodations near Viila Comunale have the best position because are halfway between the old city and the beach.

Hotel in a beautiful location, really kind staff, excellent breakfast with large variety buffet, vintage but well taken care spacious rooms with marble bathroom and balcony with an AMAZING view of the beach side!

Overall everything was good.

Really beautiful hotel.Spent 4 days now (September 2-6th).Old in a charming way. Breath taking view from the hotel. Friendly stuff. Very good breakfast by the lovely pool. Just remember to book your dinner in advance otherwise you are stuck without it and have to climb to the nearest restaurant. GREAT location.5 to 10 minute walk to the famouse Corso Umberto shopping street. As I mentioned it is an old hotel and thus little things may break but it was slways fixed in no time. Strongly recommand this hotel.You will not regret choosing it

Had to cancel last minute and they waived our cancellation fee. Also would recommend this place since it has one of the best views over Taormina and its 2 minutes away from the most beautiful park you’ll find on a 100km radius.
