Dimora Cala del Pozzo

Beautiful architecture and stunning views. Walking distance through the amazing cacti gardens from a really cool and tasteful cocktail bar right next to the beach. Alice and her (exclusively?) female team do a great job in managing the place and they all speak excellent English. And yes, there is no one at reception during the night (as some scared lady mentioned in her review) but why should there be anybody ?It is an agritourismo-boutique hotel. And yes, the place is vegetarian and generally environmentally conscious in a reasonable way. Alice has provided fantastic restaurant recommendations (incl places that serve fish and meat). If someone complains about vegetarian breakfast and that they get lost in the large garden, they should better stay at Hilton Millennium or so next time … The Dimora location is 300 m from the water and 10 min by e-bike from the next restaurant. 20 minutes to Favignana Center.

Great experience. Property is stunning from an architecture and design standpoint. Meticulously cleaned rooms. Staff (incl Alice and Barbara) were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Tasty breakfast including cooked eggs, pastries, breads, fruits etc all locally sourced including from their farm. A short walk to their restaurant, Cibo, as well as the ocean. And FYI to the post about water charges to the room, there is a free filtered water fountain in the common area, so you don’t need to worry about buying and lugging a pack of water bottles to the property (or paying for water at all).

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! The property is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly kind. Alice in particular is wonderful — she went above and beyond to help us out. The rooms are private and secluded, but there are also beautiful common spaces. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner — the best breakfast I had during my stay in Sicily. You can also go to the restaurant down the hill (same owners) for lunch and tramonte (sunset), which has excellent food and a super fun vibe. I can’t recommend Cala del Pozzo enough! We loved it so much that we extended our stay and we’re already planning to come back next year.

This was the absolute highlight of our five week trip in Sicily. We stayed here, and in the sister hotel Dimora dell’Olivastro, both of which were little slices of paradise. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Both hotels are based around the farm - I believe they own something like 50 hectares. They produce their own olive oil, wine, honey, etc. The attached restaurant, right on the ocean, had the best food of our trip. We extended our stay to 3 nights, which was perfect - be sure to make reservations well in advance.

We stayed at Cala Del Pozzo in October, and although the weather wasn't perfect, the stay at the hotel was absolutely a dream. Cala Del Pozzo is truly a little piece of heaven on earth. Everything from the ambience, the authenticity, the gorgeous design, the hospitality of Gabriella, Alice and the entire staff - who are so warm and kind, the breathtaking views and extraordinary food which is all local and delicious. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at and we definitely will be back!

Highly recommend the L’Euforbia room!!! Nothing beats the view + the shower window!

We had a special stay at this down to earth yet chic and carefully considered boutique hotel by the sea. All the staff were utterly delightful and the food was sublime with the highlight being the lovely Al fresco dinner and the linguine with pesto and vongole. That might be the pesto I have ever had!

Wonderful staff go above and beyond, making one feel at home. Beautiful landscaped grounds and tasteful design all around. The natural wines are superb. A treasure.

We stayed for three nights. The place is a paradise and perfect if you want to relax!
The location is romantic, lovely and indeed very special with a lot of private space. Staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Another delight besides the room, was the breakfast and dinner.
The included breakfast is simple, but just delicious (fresh ricotta). Dinner menu is available upon request. It is a perfect homemade dinner in a very family-like atmosphere. Everything is fresh cooked and tastes delicious. We strongly recommend this place!

To say that I loved this place would be an understatement. The staff were wonderful, the setting magical and the food exceptional. I stayed here and their other B&B a bit further up the road 'Dimora Dell'Olivastra' They have a wonderful breakfast and also have a brilliant chef who serves up dinner if you book. The rooms are also immaculate with beautiful polished plaster bathrooms.

I highly, highly recommend.

È semplice fare una recensione di questo luogo. È perfetto. Barbara è una vera signora di casa, anche se giovanissima. Accoglie, consiglia, coccola. Non manca davvero niente. I tramonti sono mozzafiato, la vegetazione incredibile, la cena a menù fisso con i prodotti della loro azienda agricola davvero buona. E tanti gattini che ti fanno innamorare. Grazie!

Magnifico. La Dimora Cala del Pozzo colpisce subito per la sua bellezza e la quiete che si percepisce. Immersa nella natura, la Dimora si trova a pochissimi minuti da alcune delle calette più belle dell’isola e a circa 15 min di scooter dal centro di Favignana. Alice e Barbara accolgono con gentilezza e simpatia i loro ospiti, fornendo consigli su come godersi appieno l’isola. Le colazioni sono ottime, fatte in casa, genuine e varie, con prodotti dolci e salati. Ciliegina sulla torta il loro ristorante, “Cibo, Chiacchiere e Vino”, in cui è possibile ammirare il tramonto in posizione privilegiata degustando ottime birre e vini di loro produzione (e non solo) accompagnati da buonissimi stuzzichini tipici.

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato alla dimora per una notte. La struttura di trova nella parte occidentale dell'isola, la più tranquilla e appartata con vista sulla cala omonima. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. L'accoglienza è stata molto gentile e la stanza davvero magnifica. Abbiamo dormito nella stanza Aloe dotata di vasca da bagno esterna in un piccolo giardino privato. La colazione è davvero ricca, soddisfa ogni esigenza ed è arricchita di diverse produzioni locali della dimora stessa.
In generale è stata un'esperienza davvero unica!

Cinque stelle non sono sufficienti…
Posto incantevole, finemente ristrutturato ed arredato.
La cura dei dettagli, sia negli interni, sia nelle aree aperte, è davvero elevata.
Il personale è cordiale e preparato, le camere assolutamente pulite e perfettamente attrezzate.
La struttura è situata a N-W dell’Isola, nella parte più selvaggia, a circa sei km da Favignana paese, ma con una bicicletta si riesce a raggiungere senza fatica ogni angolo dell’Isola.
Colazioni deliziose, con prodotti tipici del posto, bio e a km zero, sia dolce, sia salato, in uno spazio davvero suggestivo e rilassante.
Parcheggio privato adiacente alla struttura.
Abbiamo soggiornato qui per due notti, dal 28 al 30 maggio, ma torneremo sicuramente!
Complimenti a tutto lo staff, abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore alla Dimora Cala del Pozzo!
