Restaurant @ Villa Carlotta

Wow. What a delightful experience at Villa Carlotta! All of the dishes we selected were expertly crafted and brimming with flavor. We could not fault the service from Luigi, Alberto, and Stefano; they were so attentive, gave us all the right recommendations, didn’t rush the sitting, and did it all with smiles on their faces. This was one of our best dining experiences while in Sicily. The setting and views across the bay were amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here for a meal with our 2 kids and it was a lovely experience! Our waiter Luigi was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious 😋 The tiramisu was possibly the best I've ever had! And the view spectacular! I would definitely recommend it.

Yesterday we had a birthday dinner planned at the restaurant and were really impressed by the location and view. The service from our waiters Francesco, Luigi and Stefano was exceptional and made our night out memorable 👍👍 it’s a bit outside the busy area but reachable within 5-10 minutes walk from the main streets 👍👍 the food quality was very good ☺ also the spacing and privacy of tables was good in our opinion.

Wonderful food, service and ambiance. We really felt pampered by Luigi and Francesco who made us feel like very special guests. The produce is fresh and seasonal and the dishes were tried were delicious.

Amazing experience all-together.

The staff (especially Luigi) were all extremely attentive and friendly. We arrived early and had a look around the wonderful hotel as well. Then we were offered to take our aperitif (some very unique and delicious drinks) in the lounge which was a cozy refuge with great atmosphere next to the restaurant.

The restaurant itself also is very atmospheric and the food was outstanding. Accompanied by great wine recommendations and impeccable service throughout the evening, we had a wonderful time.

Absolutely incredible food here- had dinner twice during our stay and Luigi and the rest of the team could not have been more attentive
I had two different pastas and the lamb, all were fantastic and I’d have them all again! The homemade bread is delicious too and they use lots of local ingredients
Staff offered fantastic wine suggestions and made great cocktails! Great views of the water and the sunset also.
We ate from the lighter menu at lunch twice and had great pizza with very fresh ingredients.
Very lucky to have had this incredible restaurant in our hotel but would definitely recommend a visit even if you are not staying there

Amazing view and very well done food . We went for a fancy lunch and it did not disappoint!

We had such a lovely evening at this restaurant. Luigi our waiter was so happy, attentive and was wonderful at explaining everything I'm English. Staff were fantastic! The food was delicious, tuna tartar needed a bit more seasoning but it was all yummy and wine great too!

If you want avoid the confusion and tourist traps of center Taormina, I thoroughly recommend Villa Carlotta’s rooftop restaurant. Had a fantastic evening with this luxurious dinner experience. Really fresh fish and quality dishes with a cozy ambiance with a view and fantastic service by Luigi and co.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Superb quality food; lobster linguine has big lumps of meat and the filet steak was melt in the mouth. Low key, romantic atmosphere with 5-star service-thank you Alberto, Stefano and Marcello.

A wonderful dining experience! I found this restaurant while randomly searching for venues with a view in Taormina and it turned out to be so much more! It offers an amazing view, indeed. Your can see all across the bay, which is beautifully illuminated by the moonlight on nights with a fool moon. The restaurant is classy, with a nice, quiet atmosphere, the food is delicious (try the caponata and the tiramisu), and the service is amazing. Luigi was very attentive, yet discreet! Highly recommended!

Amazing location and brilliant food. Had a fantastic experience at villa carlotta with my father. The food and drinks were top notch with a view that can only be described as world class. Served by Luigi and Francesco that had great recommendations for food, drinks and they made a fantastic experience even better. I will definitely come back to Villa Carlotta if I’m in Taormina.

Francesco,s cocktail bar is not to be missed. He sets a high standard for others to follow. Overall the food & service was great. A very enjoyable experience with amazing views of Mt. Etna.

We came here for a romantic dinner. Not only the restaurant is on an amazing terrace with a stunning view, but also the food is excellent and the service is very professional. The waiters Luigi, Francesco and Stefano contributed to make this experience memorable.

We came here for my Mum’s birthday and it was excellent! The servers Luigi and Gracia were so friendly and helpful, and brought out a complementary dessert. The view was amazing, we even got to see Mt Etna erupting!

We dined at Villa Carlotta for my wife's birthday and had an amazing time, we were treated so well with amazing staff, the food was wonderful and we order mainly fish which was extremely fresh and prepared in a great variety of ways. to top it all of the view of the sunset made it a lovely romantic experience.

The best service you can receive in Sicily. Luigi and his staff are phenomenal and do such a great job taking care of you. Food and wine was fantastic as well. Highly recommend.

Give this restaurant a Michelin star. No words- just wow. Food, ambiance, cocktails, service were all incredible. Best lamb I’ve ever had. Thank you Luigi and team for a memorable evening!

We had the most amazing meal. The food was incredible, the setting overlooking the sea was beautiful and the service excellent (Luigi, our waiter, looked after us so well).

This meal was so exquisite that we canceled our other reservations to return here before leaving. Drinks incredible, food spectacular, and unbelievable friendly, tier one service. I’m an extremely harsh food critic and this experience is next level- do not miss out on this!!
