Great fun to read all reviews: some give one star with the comment "worst pizza ever!", others give five stars for "best pizza ever!". This propably tells more about the reviewers than about the pizzas.

This place is incredible. The pizza still haunts my dreams and has forever changed my standards for pizza. I loved the atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and helpful to me as a tourist.

It’s a lovely restaurant high up in Assisi, and is a perfect spot to end your day exploring this beautiful old medieval town.

We came across this restaurant on our first night and had a delicious meal with excellent service. On our second night we spent over an hour looking for a restaurant for dinner. We could only find ones with a very limited menu and often with pricey choices. We decided to go back to Il Duomo. Wow we were welcomed back as if we were family. We chose different items from the menu and again had an excellent meal. On our third night..... we didn't even bother to look elsewhere, we again are at Il Duomo. We had yet another excellent meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not only does it serve delicious food, have a varied menu and excellent, friendly service but it was incredible value for money too. If we visit Assisi again we know where we'll most likely be eating 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very good gluten free pizzas. Artichokes are pretty good as well. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

A little family owned restaurant just down the street (alley?) from Cattedrale di San Rufino. We were there in December, 2011. The pizza was tremendous, as were the desserts. The owners were friendly and the service was fine, even though they spoke no English and we spoke no Italian!
