Maybe the most impressive building we saw during our one week Sicily trip. This temple is fantastic. The size, the area, the mountain… perfection. Do not miss this out of you’re in the region!

Pretty interesting fortification buildings from Ancient times. Porta a Valley is named because it was located in the valley beneath the hill where Ancient city Segesta was located. You can pass that area and climb the hill by yourself instead of taking bus from the parking nearby, which will bring you to the place where you'll be able to see the Theater, ruins of the Mosque, Castle, Christian church, Agora and others.

Ancient ruins set on a wonderful hillside, definitely worth a visit. Limited cafe facilities though, watch out for the midday sun especially when travelling with kids.

Jedna ze 3 vstupních bran do opevněného města, později přestavěná na pevnost. Kolem této brány vede cestička k hornímu opevnění a následně k akropoli na kopci.
