Best cocktails in Taormina. Very good menu a lot of choices. 10/10

We are soooo happy we came here with my husband. Wow. I had one of the mixologists Monir surprise me with a special drink, and one for my husband, and they were the best drinks we have ever had. Ever. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, and truly good quality drinks with an even better quality service. Keep in mind, the bartender special cocktails are more expensive, one of our specials was 6€ more than the regular cocktails.

Probably my top choice for cocktails in Taormina. I visited this bar multiple times and each drink experience was so well crafted. The staff is very friendly. Salvatore, the owner, is a fantastic host.

Before or after dinner, some like to go for digestivi or aperitivi. Ape nera is since years our place to have either apero or digestivo. This cocktail bar is more than a regular cocktail bar. They serve also small snacks and desserts. However, as usual in Italy the alcoholic drinks are accompanied with some nuts, chips and vegetables. All is arranged in a lovely and well cared way. Table lights make it cosy. In addition the friendly staff set you straight in comfort. That way you are able to spend some time on the main corso looking at all the people passing by (passeggiata).
This year the Espresso Martini convinced me. It is a delicious cocktail with an espresso as one of the main ingredients. It is well presented with some coffee powder or beans on top of the foam.
Conclusion : I can only recommend Ape nera for its fantastic cocktails and the very kind and friendly service.

You have to try Flower Negroni, Sicilian Spritz or Spiced Cocktail.
Passionfruit Spritz was very good too.

Very nice cocktail bar on the high street of Taormina. The cocktails were very tasty (best pisco sour outside of the americas) and they also served some very tasty complimentary snacks. It's great for people watching and the service was absolutely fantastic.

Incredible. As a couple of cocktail connoisseurs we always seek out the best when we travel. Look no farther than Ape Nera. The staff is warm and welcoming, they treat you like family. But the best part is the drinks! Incredible and artistic. And it’s one of the best sidewalk spots to sit and people watch. A total home run if you’re in Taormina.

Great selection of cocktails. My wife and I were there on the International Jazz Day and they had a special cocktail. The cannoli are to die for. I would recommend!

Very friendly staff. Very good cocktails and food. My boyfriend didn’t know if he wanted rum or whiskey. The bartender was very happy to help and asked if he liked passion fruit and made a surprise cocktail for him (which was very tasty). And for my second cocktail he asked what type of alcohol i liked and also made me a (also very tasty) surprise cocktail.

Really great cocktail bar- which there don't seem to be many of - with excellent food and great ambiance. The bartenders were both great and super personable, giving us great recommendations. The food was also really good- small snacks as well as the appetizers, especially bruschetta!

Very welcoming and friendly staff. A great selection of barman special cocktails. A bit on the pricey side but worth it for proper cocktails and tasty appetisers...including mini bruseccta and aranccini. Great music as well - jazz vibes.

This perfect bar located exactly in the centre of down town Taormina, they have a lot of kind of drinks, amazing tartar (fresh salmon, tuna), sandwiches are so tasty, that you can forget all your diets! Strongly recommend!
