Lamè Trattoria.

Lovely, family-run trattoria. There's a neat but not overwhelming selection of dishes from classic staples like gnocchi Sorrentina or Parmigiana to rarer recipes like Genovese Di Tonno. I went with a mixed seafood starter (€18) and the aforementioned Parmigiana (€7). While parmigiana was very much tasty, with a neat crust developed and tender aubergines, it was the plentiful mixed starter that was the real showstopper. It once again combined well-known and beloved flavours (in this case, octopus salad) with more novel inventions like prawns in carrots or seafood take on a caponata. The five different samplers that were provided were not bitesize portions either, so I easily imagine a person can be satisfied just with such an appetiser. So expect rather larger portions of food that is either good, very good or exceptional (as was the case for some of the appetisers).

There's also a succinct but interesting selection of local wines available, as well as other drinks at good prices (water for €2, espresso for a single euro). The fact that terrace seating provides an enchanting vista only adds to the experience. Definitely recommended.

If you ever happen to to visit vietri definable come to this place. A small family restaurant with fresh ingredients and traditional recopies from the owner’s nona. Is known among the locals which says a lot. Simple yet unique dishes made with love. The quality of the seafood was top. Also we were amazed with the prices compared to the quality and quantity of food!

The porcini and salsiccia pasta was so good, it is one of the best pasta dishes I have had. The grilled tuna was also amazing. All the dishes are hearty homemade food, for me they are better than fancy restaurants. It was a pity I only dined here once during my trip, I would love to come back!

Perfect spot to have a delicious dinner with some of my favorite wine in Italy! The caprese is out of this world and the tiramisu is divine. I definitely recommend the peppered mussels- save some bread to dip. Kind waiter who wasn't put off by our very broken Italian and helped us in English. Bravissimo!

I am literally sitting here right now eating the best food I’ve had on the Amalfi coast. This is our second night in a row here. If you have to go to one restaurant in Vietri, pick this one! Family owned and run, everything is so fresh and super reasonably priced. I would eat here again if we had time on our trip. Wine selection is amazing and they let us take some bottles to go. I cannot emphasize this enough - I would eat here six million more times and willingly go up 10 pant sizes.

Everything was delicious and fresh cooked. We loved it ! Local people also choose this restaurant. Quality food with fair prices. You can wait for your food a little bit because they cook fresh but definitely worth it. We highly recommend it 👌

If you are looking for authentic Italian food in a homely environment, this is the place 🙂 The staff did not speak English but immediately used Google translate to communicate and explain the menu. The food was extremely delicious, freshly prepared. Service is excellent! This is beyond a typical tourist place and the view from the restaurant is beautiful.

The best place to go , proper local food . Restaurant run by whole family , amazing people , great service , proper Italian atmosphere, food … no words , fresh , juicy … homemade pasta ..lovely sea food . Great food and alcohol prices , glass of vine 5€ or whole bottle between 12-18€ , food reasonable prices - 2x starters and 2 main courses - 36€ . Thank you

5 days at Vietri, best place to eat! Local traditional food with pure ingredients! Try the cickpeas with pasta and seafood dish. Mamma mia! Value for money. We were 5 people we ordered many plates + a bottle of white wine and we paid only 80 euros!

Food was perfect. The quality of seafood was paramount! A lot of options including homemade dessert. The family run environment makes you appreciate the love that goes into the food!

A great trattoria, within a short distance from the beach. Everything from the pastas through the seafood was fresh, tasty and unpretentious. The octopus salad was superb.

The reviews telling you to go here are correct! My boyfriend and I came here for our last dinner in Vietri Sul Mare and the food did not disappoint, the mussels, octopus, pasta and zucchini were delicious! We wanted to lick our plates clean! The service was wonderful and kind. Grazie Mille!

I really wanted to try vongole spaghetti and octopus salad when I visited to Southern Italy. And, I'm really happy that I came here and ate really good vongole spaghetti and octopus salad in the end!! The seafood is so fresh so that they don't need to add anything else.
Just simple and it's the best.
Of course the white wine fits with the seafood and I was very satisfied and happy.
The view from the restaurant is beautiful and the staffs are very friendly and kind🧡
When I have an opportunity to go back to Vietri Sul Mare, definitely I will go back here!!🌞✨

Family run trattoria with pleasant service and great view of the mountains in the terrace. We tried the caprese appetizer, spaghetti with mussels, vegetarian pasta, baba and lemon sweet for dessert.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch before going to the beach and it was the perfect choice. The food was beyond delicious and we felt so welcomed in this place.

Very friendly service, casual atmosphere, simple, but tasty dishes, and a great view from the terrace. The octopus salad and spaghetti vongole are worth recommending, and you should definitely try the wine. We found this place by accident, but we will certainly come back if we're ever in Vietri again. Best food on Vietri! The service was excellent and the food was amazing and all for a very fair price. Be sure the book a head though :)
