Visitato il 31 Agosto 2023 è una bella chiesa, pulita e molto semplice. Mi è piaciuta perché mi sono sentita accolta. Singolare e molto divertente è che le campane anche se suonano alle 8, la chiesa apre alle 10. Evviva i siciliani che incominciano più tardi !!!!

Oggi alle ore 09.00 del 26 Settembre 2021, è stato emozionante trovare la celebrazione della Discesa dei Santi registrata su Facebook nel sito della Parrocchia! Grazie anche al Parroco che ha illustrato in modo chiaro e preciso tutto il programma e il significato della giornata commemorativa dei Medici Santi. Non perdete il commento sulla storia dei Medici Santi sui Commenti di fcbk. Chiarisce e rafforza la preghiera ai Magnifici Santi Medici. Pregate per noi ! 🙏🕊💐🌿

Chiesa nata povera, scarna, ma arricchita dalle due statue lignee dei Santi Medici donate nella seconda metà dell'800 dalla Principessa di Scalea e costate 88 "pezzi" d'oro.

Quando sei devoto a dei santi in particolare (san Cosma e Damiano)...non puoi che amare la propria chiesa ...ma in questo caso vorrei spendere anche una parola per chi la gestisce (il parroco) una che le raccoglie tutte MERAVIGLIOSO

Della chiesa non ci sono notizie, se non dal 1841 in poi, data in cui si legge nei documenti per delle spese per il restauro della chiesa, della casa e per l’arredamento.
