Gelateria Leccapaletta Assisi

Really great gelato, super tasty. Tiramisu flavour was a bit bland, not so much taste compared to others, but the pistachio one was on point. Felt like some of the flavour recommendations from the server were a bit basic (chocolate, vanilla), for all the flavours listed.

Great price though, and the cones were the best ones I’ve tried so far.

Real Italian gelato. Description are also in English. Generous portion served with great smile. I like how the gelato is kept covered as it should be. I loved the fig selection that had real fruits. Will surely return!!

One of the best gelato I’ve had in Italy and I’m gelato fan. We had tasted chocolate fondente with frutti di bosco and yogurt with mango and all flavours were great.

I am traveling around Italy and trying to find ice-cream as nearly as good as that one, 2nd place in Maranello, 3rd place Bolzano, but all other cities, Perugia, Florence, Bologna, Rome etc. cannot compete with this one, it is No. 1, just extraordinary. There are still places to visit, but this one remains unbeatable.

The best gelato in Assisi, excellent flavors for those with lactose issues. The servers were kind and welcoming. Prayer and pistachio is an excellent combination.

THE best gelato I have ever tasted. The covers over the gelato keep it very fresh and create a very smooth consistency. Much better than anything you can find in Rome.

Real Italian ice. How can I describe it.... Normally I have good Italian ice-cream, but this Gelateria is better then good.

The strawberry ice-cream was not ice-cream with strawberries, but strawberries with ice-cream. Tasting it was like eating strawberries, but with ice! The chocolate ice was even better. The chocolate melted in my mouth, but with ice-cream.

I visited a nr.1 gelateria in San Gimignano, which was amazing ice-cream, but I am not sure which one is better...

This place had incredibly delicious gelato. I went safe with a double scoop of chocolate but it was so good.

A local told me its the best in Assisi. The special flavors are incredible, the pear is wonderful. Theres a nut one with tiny toffee bits that i love. I also tried the special parfaits which were delicious with special sauces and great whipped cream.
