Rifugio Ciccio Garibaldi

Amazing place. Owners dedicated their whole life to make Sicily a little bit better place for dogs to live . They are claiming volunteers. I had wonderful time there and I have met many amazing people. Dogs there are the most lovable creatures. I really would have recommend this experience to anyone

this shelter is like a second home to me. The time I spend there is unforgettable. So many kind and interesting new people and so so many dogs that deserve the whole world.

Would recommend volunteering here! It is by far the one of the greatest experiences 🤩 I love everything about this place, the dogs, the other volunteers, the owner and especially the lovely Nelly who runs things 🥰

Sono tornato al rifugio quattro volte... ogni volta è un po' diversa ma sempre fantastica. Nely e Franco hanno un grande cuore per gli animali, soprattutto per i cani. Vedere il rifugio migliorare ogni volta che sono tornato mi ha riscaldato il cuore. Tutto ciò che fanno è nell'interesse dei cani, vengono portati a passeggio ogni giorno, hanno sempre cibo e acqua fresca a disposizione e tanto spazio per correre e giocare con i volontari. Consiglierei sicuramente questo posto a chiunque ami i cani e voglia rendere un po' migliore la loro vita♥

Wir haben Cornelia persönlich kennengelernt, sie steckt so viel Liebe und Geduld in jeden einzelnen Hund!
Sie hat uns sogar geholfen und unsere Findelbabykatze abgenommen, diese sollte unbedingt noch vermittelt werden.

I volunteered at this rescue centre for a total of three months, and loved every moment of it. Nely and Franco are so welcoming and lovely. All of the dogs are amazing and looking after them and watching their personalities come out is wonderful. I actually rescued a dog from here and the process was made so simple thankfully because of Nely! A great rescue shelter over all.

Mi sono offerto volontario presso questo centro di soccorso per un totale di tre mesi e ho amato ogni momento. Nely e Franco sono così accoglienti e adorabili. Tutti i cani sono fantastici e prendersi cura di loro e osservare le loro personalità emergere è meraviglioso. In realtà ho adottato un cane da qui e il processo è stato reso così semplice, fortunatamente grazie a Nely! Un ottimo rifugio per animali in generale.

Ein mit Herz und Seele geführtes Tierheim. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.
Auch wenn unser Aufenthalt von kurzer Dauer war, sind wir von der Atmosphäre hier begeistert und helfen Cornelia auch gerne weiterhin bei der Vermittlung ihrer tollen Hunde.

Experiência incrível!! O trabalho realizado por todos é muito importante e muito bonito. Os cães são muito dóceis e esperam por uma família que os adotem com muito amor. Eu super indico viver essa experiência de troca e de amor. 🧡

Sehr nette Leute haben eine Baby Katze gefunden. Und sie dort hingebracht die Leute waren sehr sehr nett. Empfehlenswert.

Ein sauberes Tierheim das mit viel Herz und Verstand geführt wird.
