La Panetteria Rosticceria

This is another gem in Sicily that is a must. I was travelling thru sicily by car and we saw this place and had to stop. Have a look at the pics and the recognition of their incredible food. I tried some different things and the price was incredibly reasonable and the food was quality at its best. The person behind the counter even kindly gave me some samples after I paid the bill. Where can you eat good Sicilian food for 17 euro for 3 people!

Could not say enough good things about this wonderful place we stumbled across. We were going to the Valley of The Temples when we decided we were getting hungry after driving three hours. I said this place looks good, let's try it. We were greeted by friendly staff and some of the best aromas I could imagine. Fresh, tasty, and affordable. I was left with such an impression that when we go back to Sicily this year I will drive another three hours to get lunch here. It may sound crazy but unbelievably worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Great stop for a panino or pastry. We were looking for a quick lunch and walked here from out B&B. I had a great mortadella panino which was very filling. I don't remember what my wife had, we have been married over 40 years so we pay only marginally to each other now, but I know she liked it.

Reasonable prices and well worth a stop.

Found this by pure dumb luck. It was right next to our bnb and we thought we'd get a quick snack before the temples. Turned out this was a landmark itself. We had the porchetta sandwich and the bomba. Wow! When you see local Italian nonna's and construction workers crowding the line, you know you've found something special. It was so good we wanted to come back for dinner. Unfortunately they were later closed for the weekend. This is one of those lucky experiences where your expectations were low but get completely turned around. Super recommended.

Was a perfect quick stop for sustenance on our drive from Taoromina to Marsala. Great food, quick and portable. Easy parking on nearby streets.

Tasty paninis, especially the mortadella, pistachio pesto and burrata. Lovely friendly staff in this casual roadside cafe. Noisy road though!

Great food and the young man taking our order spoke very good English! On our next trip to Sicily, which we can’t wait for, we will have acquired at least a passable amount of Italian.

Really good food, perfect for lunchtime after doing the valley of temples. The roast beef filled roll I had was very nice.

Delicious food. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the Arancini because they took about 20min more. Friendly and English-speaking staff.

Delicious sandwich. Stopped here for a picnic on the way out of Agrigento. Wish I would have eaten here more.

Was expecting a quick bite before temple valley.. such a find, prolly the best paneterria in west sicily, hellsa good value, nice staff, -really different- food options, look nowhere else
