Corso Umberto

Corso Umberto is the main pedestrianised shopping street that runs through the centre of Taormina. It stretches about 600 metres from Porta Catania at one end to Porta Messina at the other end. It is lined with a multitude of shopping options from high end designer shops, gift/souvenir shops, bars, coffee shops, handbags/leather goods, gelaterias, wine & chocolate shops & jewellers, not to mention an abundance of restaurants. Along the way you will find churches, beautiful piazzas large & small with quaint alleyways with stunning views making it a photographer's paradise. Mere words don't do it justice, come & see it for yourself. My wife and I have been coming here for 30 years & we never tire of it.

One long and cosy shopping street with anything you want, also lots of ice cream shops, bars, places to eat, souvenir stores, mini markets. Also lovely (and it is safe there at night time), you can just go for a stroll along the pubs at night, get drunk and still come home safely to your hotel without being robbed. You only need to watch out for traffic, they drive like idiot's over there and don't care about a butch or a scratch more on their cars

Stopped here to escape a rainstorm and ended up having dinner. The food was SO GOOD! We were pleasantly surprised and will
definitely be back again. The waitstaff were friendly, funny and helpful.

Die alte Stadt ist super schön zum spazieren und erkunden
Aber man erstaunt bei den Geschäften denn es sieht alles super aus aber man muss eine sehr gute Visa karte haben und auch die verschmilzt schon im ersten Geschäft 😢😢

Corso Umberto è la via principale di Taormina , isola pedonale che collega Porta Messina e Porta Catania, passando per la piazza belvedere , bei palazzi con balconi con fiori e piante , miriade di negozi , anche di lusso , che spaziano dalla moda all'antiquariato , all'artigianato , alle primizie , alla gioielleria, il tutto molto bene esposto!

Taormina é davvero una città Stupenda piena di fascino con i suoi meravigliosi ristoranti e negozi oserei dire unici . É una città che mi porta ogni volta che vengo in Sicilia a visitarla con lo stessa voglia e lo stesso stupore della prima volta . Voto 10 + ♥

Ottima cucina a prezzi onestissimi. Sono stato con mia moglie in questo ristorante per una cena rilassante in pieno centro storico di Taormina. Siamo Stati accolti con calore e molta cortesia. Abbiamo preso una pepata di cozze (ottime e abbondanti, che ha soddisfatto entrambi); mia moglie ha poi preso un risotto alla marinara, che le è arrivato molto ricco di frutti di mare, mentre io ho optato per un piatto di spaghetti molli che e acciughe. Entrambe le portate si sono rivelate perfette per cottura ed armonia di sapori. Da bere abbiamo chiesto una bottiglia di acqua liscia ed una birra grande alla spina. Totale 46 euro. Uno dei pochi ristoranti a Taormina con prezzi davvero onesti, calcolando anche l'ubicazione.

Die quirlige, romantische Innenstadtgasse mit wunderschönen Plätzen, gekrönt mit ebensolchen Ausblicken. Die Läden sind modern oder historisch gewachsen, teils mit antikem Inventar. Das Angebot ist vielseitig und vor allem kein Kitsch. Hier begegnet man Einheimischen und Ausflügler von Kreuzfahrtschiffen, die entspannt miteinander bummeln oder Eis essen.

Taormina es en gran parte esta hermosa arteria que recorre todo lo ancho de esta hermosa ciudad. Hay negocios de lo que se les ocurra y muchos de ellos, de artículos de lujo. Se extiende desde Porta Messina a Porta Catania y tengan en cuenta hacer un parate en la piazza IX aprile, con vistas panorámicas fenomenales. En verano es particularmente difícil caminar por las multitudes que caminan por ella.

Una bella passeggiata su corso Umberto a Taormina e sempre piacevole..... Passeggiare per questa via e ammirare i negozi e gli scorci dei vicoli di Taormina ti lascerà un ricordo indelebile della ne. Terra
