Costruito nel 1937 per essere la sede dell'allora Podestà G.C.Gambone, è un esempio dello stile floreale dell'architettura fascista.
Il Podestà, eletto dal Prefetto con una carica di quattro anni, veniva a sostituire il Sindaco, la Giunta e il Consiglio comunale.
Attualmente il Palazzo riversa in uno stato di completo abbandono.
