Campsite La Grande Quiete

We visited this campsite on the way down south during our European tour couple of years back.

🏕⛺ The campsite itself is very clean and staff members are absolutely brilliant and helpful the facilities are rather clean nothing to complain about

🏞 The main feature of the campsite itself is the access to the Como lake. If you have time you can even have a dip to battle the sun 🌞

🌄 Views are absolutely stunning and the surfing school nearby is very tempting.

I definitely regret it we couldn't stay longer

Very nice camping ground right at Lake Como.

We found a very welcoming atmosphere by both the long time camping crowd that are coming here for more than twenty years sometimes, as well as by the staff.

The camping itself is right at lake como, featuring the only sand beach of the lake.
It had many familiy visitors with kids small and tall but was at the same time very calmly located a bit out in the green next to a protected nature area.

Many guests are kite or windsurfers and wait for the wind to come up around 1pm get on the lake.

You find shopping possibilities in nearby Sorico (10min by car) or the beautiful Locarno. Great restaurants everywhere :-)

We enjoyed staying with our two small kids (3y + 5y) and would love to come again.

Really nice to camp on the lake. Feels like the beach almost. When there are parties , even special!
Be sure to visit the bomboklaat surf school!

Totally positive magic place with extremely helpful and friendly Landlords.
We have spent 2 nights on the camping with our campervan but we wish we could stay longer.
Nice people, wonderful scent of pine forest , family atmosphere and beautiful lake, amazing views and the beach directly from the campsite at your fingertip - this is what you can expect:)
Highly recommended.
We would like to visit this place again.

Mir hat es Mitte September sehr gut dort gefallen. Der Stellplatz war top und die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich. Brot und Semmeln gab es auf Bestellung morgens frisch und der Strand war sehr schön. Ich komme wieder!

Het is een hele mooie plek zelf is dit mijn lievelingscamping. Het is een zweer volle camping je komt helemaal tot rust. Ook kan je hier heerlijk surfen er is ook een surfschool die is echt heel goed want, ze hebben heel veel geduld en kunnen goed les geven

Ein sehr schön gelegener, wenn auch verhältnismäßig teurer, Campingplatz, auf dem man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen findet. Zum See geht man nur wenige Meter, besser geht’s kaum, während die Aussicht wunderbar ist. Lediglich abends (zumindest im Sommer) ist der Lautstärkepegel durch Party People recht hoch, was man auf diesem Platz bedenken sollte, wenn man mit kleinen Kindern übernachtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, die Organisation ist äußerst unkompliziert. Auch die sanitären Anlagen überzeugen durchaus in punkto Hygiene, auch wenn sie schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind.

Sehr schöner & ruhiger Campingplatz ohne Schnick Schnack! Der perfekte Ort zum entschleunigen! Die Besitzer sind super liebe Leute , danke für die nette Beherbergung 😀.

Schöner Platz mit vielen netten Wassersportlern. Sandstrand direkt vor dem Platz, auch Kiten ist dort möglich.
Super Service, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren Ende Juni für zwei Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben uns einen Platz reserviert, was gerade am Wochenende sinnvoll erscheint.

Bester Camping weit und breit! Sehr freundliches Personal und top Service!! Immer wieder schön!

im Herbst wenig Leute, ideal, um zu entspannen und den Strand geniessen. Es gibt aber auch viele Möglichkeiten für Sportler wie surfen, Fahrrad fahren, wandern etc.
