Cool bio camping, awesome location and view! Most welcome and friendly hosts. Facilities were perfectly fine. Peaceful place and still a good connection with Taormina. Nice beach and restaurants down the Hill.

Beautiful view and nice location. It is a special place to stay. And the owners are very helpful. I forgot something important at the campsite and the owners went to a lot of trouble to send it back to me. Very grateful!

It’s a very nice project to support. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The place itself was wonderful, a nice and quiet camping spot under the olive trees where you could see the city. A 15 minute walk to the closest busstation made Toarmina easy to go to.

I stayed at Dorothy and Tano’s ideal campsite for the past three weeks and highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. They have everything you need, such as a toilet, shower, tent spots, parking, hammocks and areas to sit back, as well as a great view. Super close to the beach and town centre (10 minutes or so walking). The hosts are lovely and have lots of knowledge and experience of the area to share, lovely chats, and are always there to help out if needed. I’ll definitely be coming back some time in the future to stay again!

The Best Place to stay in Sicily. Camping area has a breathtaking view and the most accomodating hosts. Close walk to the main town and beach of Letojanni, easy and accessible public transport to get to other destinations like Taormina!

Hello! I stayed in Le Terrazze camping site volunteering for almost two months and I highly recommend it. The hosts Tano and Doro are wonderful people with fun energy and they are attentive to satisfy your every need to create a pleasant stay. It has a glorious open view of the Sicilian sea from a high point where you can also spot beautiful Taormina. It blessed with the great combination of nature and civilization where in the camping you feel the freedom of isolation and green but with a 15 minutes walk down the hill you arrive to a nice little town, Letojanni. There are loads of activities to do, its a good middle point for visiting Toarmina, Gole dell Alcantara, going to the beach or visiting little towns that are nearby like Forza d Agro, Gallodoro, Castelmola, etc.
It offers a variety of locations for settling your tent ⛺ with shadow and your privacy. It started not so long ago and it was exciting seeing the evolution of the camping growing every day. In my stay there were guests from all over the world sharing there experiences and culture.
If you are in the east side of Sicily don’t hesitate to choose Eco-Project Le Terraze.

Das Projekt ist eine Herzensangelegenheit und wird mit viel Leidenschaft und Engagement aufgebaut. Doro und Tano sind zwei herzliche und authentische Menschen, die zielstrebig an ihrem Vorhaben arbeiten. Danke für das morgendliche Frühstück!!! Mitten in der Natur, an Olivenbaum-Terassen entsteht ein großartiger Spot für Camper mit Zelten und kleinen Reisemobilen (nicht länger als 5 m und am besten 4x4). Der Anfahrtsweg bergauf zu dem Platz ist anspruchsvoll, aber dafür wird man mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf Letojanni belohnt. Die Lage ist perfekt, um mit dem Bus nach Taormina und mit dem Zug nach Catania oder Messina zu fahren. Danke, Tano, für den Tipp die Route am Ätna vorbei in Richtung Norden zu nehmen! Wir hatten eine super entspannte Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und entspannten Aufenthalt. Das Gelände ist toll verwinkelt und man hat seine Privatsphäre und einen wundervollen Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Olivenbäume spenden kühlen Schatten und ein wunderschöner Strand ist auch nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und offen und können einem gute Empfehlungen geben. Gerne wieder!

Ein Traum von einem Campingplatz in den Bergen, abseits vom Massentourismus und trotzdem nur 5 Min. mit dem Auto vom hübschen Letojanni, mit Stränden, Bars und Restaurants, entfernt. Das schöne Taormina mit dem sehr sehenswerten antiken Amphitheater ist nur 20 Autobusminuten entfernt. Doro und Tano könnten keine besseren Gastgeber sein. Sie betreiben die Anlage mit viel Herz und harter Arbeit und lernt man die beiden und ihren Kleinen kennen, kann man ihnen nur alles Beste und viel Erfolg mit diesem Fleckchen Paradies wünschen. Ich habe mich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt, alles nötige war vorhanden, das Zelt ist ultra gemütlich, auch der Sitzbereich unter einem wunderschönen Olivenbaum. Am ersten Tag musste ich mich richtig überwinden die Anlage zu verlassen um Letojanni zu erkunden und an den Strand zu gehen. Falls es einem an etwas mangelt ist Doro sofort zur Stelle und leiht bei Bedarf (und falls grad vorhanden) auch Dinge aus. Doro und Tano, danke für alles! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Luogo immerso nella natura e con bellissimo affaccio panoramico sul mare, un progetto che rispetta l'ambiente. L'host è stato molto accogliente, disponibile, come sentirsi in famiglia. Un'esperienza unica. Un caro saluto, speriamo di tornare presto.

Der perfekte Ort für einen wunderschönen Campingurlaub! Unglaubliche Aussicht aus dem Zelt und das Dorf, mit Supermarkt etc. und der schöne Strand ist auch einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und die Gastgeber*innen sind super lieb. Es war ein super angenehmer Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder! :)

Wir hatten ein besonderes und schönes Erlebnis auf den Terrassen und am Wohnwagen vom Eco-Projekt. Die Aussicht ist grandios und der Platz ist ruhig, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten, unter einem Baum im Schatten zu verweilen. Toilette, Dusche, Wasser - einfache und kreative Öko-Lösungen, die funktionieren. Die beiden Gastgeber sind super nett und geben Tips. Wenn du im Wachstum befindliche Freiräume schätzt, wirst du dich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen. Ein Gefährt wäre von Vorteil.

Doro’, ‘Tano et Yosh « Mowgli » nous ont accueilli avec gentillesse et disponibilité sur leur terrain dans leur projet en permanente évolution. Nous avons assisté en direct à la pause de la porte de la douche solaire ☺
Nous recommandons cet eco-camping pour sa tranquillité, sa sécurité et bien sûr sa proximité et son respect de la nature.
La vue sur Letojanni qu’il surplombe, et surtout sur Taormina au loin est magnifique le soir !

PS: en août 2024 l’eau potable n’était pas encore là, prévoir de remplir des bouteilles ou d’en acheter avant d’arriver 💡
N’hésitez aussi à accepter le petit déjeuner local s’iels vous le propose. ‘Tano va le chercher en scooter tous les matins vers 8h

Très bien accueillis dans ce camping en projet, qui est déjà largement satisfaisant pour quelques nuits proche de la mer, de Taormina, de l'Etna.
Sortir de la douche solaire avec vue sur la mer, et nuit sous les oliviers, que demander de plus!

Si trova a due passi dal mare, con una vista che sopratutto di sera è bellissima

Gaetano a été très arrangeant et sympathique. Alors qu'il était encore en train d'aménager le lieu, il nous a accueilli à bras ouvert sur son terrain pour qu'on puisse poser notre tente. Le lieu est destiné à être une ferme biologique et une aire de camping. Il se situe idéalement entre mer et montagne juste à côté de Taormine.
Je reviendrais avec plaisir poser ma tente sur ses terrasses.
L'ouverture officielle est prévue le 1er juillet 2024.

Schöner kleiner familiärer Zeltplatz für jeden was dabei. Strand ist 10 Minuten entfernt. Absolute Ruhe und unglaubliches panorama. Nette Besitzer Ein Besuch lohnt sich!!!
