Tuscany Photo Tours

This is my second time working with Marco Bulgarelli. I first worked with him in Roma for a half day workshop. I felt like his guidance really helped improve by photography skills. When I decided to return to Italy, contacting Marco was essential before I booked my flight.

Marco did a fantastic job organizing our 5 day Tuscan photography group. He certainly knows Tuscany and was able to take us to locations with iconic vistas. Each day he provided us with practical tips to enhance our skill set to take beautiful photos, reviewed our shots and provided input. He is extremely patient. Marco also scouted out great restaurants for first group dinner and our lunches together. He worked hard to accommodate the varying needs and interests of our group, including arranging a wine tasting at a local winery. I also must add that the accommodations he arranged added to the overall experience. Agriturismo Valcelle is not to be missed.

I highly recommend Marco and can’t wait to work with him again either in Roma,
Tuscany or both!

I just completed a 4-day private photography tour with Marco and I can’t write enough good things about it! I am a fairly experienced photographer, and with Marco‘s guidance, I really felt my skill level improved significantly. He planned diverse itineraries for each day, from Val d’Orcia to various areas of southern Tuscany, and I was able to photograph a variety of subjects – landscape, lowlight, travel, and Street photography. He always knew where to go and what time to go for the absolute best photographs. Marco is super friendly, gracious and approachable. When you spend eight hours a day for four days with a relative stranger, you’re never sure how you’ll pass the time. Marco immediately met put me at ease the moment we met. I will definitely look to participate in another of his photography tours in the near future.

Best Tuscany photo experience ever and at a reasonable price!
We took a Tuscany photo tour with Marco Bulgarelli in April 2019. There were only two of us and we had him all to ourselves! Even then, Marco's fees were more reasonable than many led photo tours. He is the photographer cum driver - perfect! Marco was dedicated and worked around the clock to make sure we get the shots we wanted. He was knowledgeable with the scenic spots as they could be quite random around Val D'orcia. He also recommended value-for-money accommodations and dining options (and food was really good in Tuscany). I am an experienced photography enthusiast and still learnt a lot from Marco. I would recommend him to photographers of different skill levels who want to maximise their times at Tuscany.

We had a great day discovering stunning photography spots of Val D'orcia. Because Marco offers the tour for small private groups, I had all his attention to myself, and the tour gave me much more than simply visiting some places and taking photos. Marco is a great teacher, so we discussed how to push my photographic knowledge further. He estimates the photographic skills and then tailors the tour for the best experience, so I know have not only many stunning pictures but also many photography advice to think about.

We had such a great time on this photo tour, it completely exceeded our expectations. Marco planned out everything and picked us up from the train station, and then proceeded to drive us around to absolutely beautiful spots where we could stop and take photos. It was exactly what I envisioned, with the beautiful Val d'Orcia spots. At each location he gave advice on best shots, angles, and really just as much feedback as you want on your photos. It was a private tour with just me and my partner with a very reasonable full day price, and Marco was very friendly and outgoing. If we come back to Italy we would book again and do his Rome photo tour.

I am fortunate to be able to pursue two of my passions - travel and photography. When I was planning my trip to Tuscany, I wanted to make sure I would be able to capture images as stunning as those I see in travel magazines and websites. I knew I would want to work with a local professional who could take me to those "secret" locations at just the right time of day. After considerable research, I decided on Tuscany Photo Tours. Marco was fantastic. We spent two full days together. On Day 1, he picked me up at 6:00 am and off we went to a location in Val d'Orcia that I never would have found on my own to shoot amazing sunrise photos. On the second day, we started in the early afternoon so that we could capture the stunning sunsets of Tuscany. Wow! I can honestly say that I took some of the most beautiful photos I have ever captured. Marco's input was invaluable. His professional input on both technical issues and composition had a major impact on the end result. Thank you Marco. Until next time....

Marco est un professionnel très exigeant avec lui-même, qui aime transmettre sa passion et partager ses conseils, notamment sur les concepts de la photographie et la composition.
