One of the best breads in Caltanissetta and possibly in the world.
Let me explain. I travel a lot and extensively between Australia, US and Europe.
Caltanissetta used to be the grain chamber of the Roman Empire and most of its grains used to come from Caltanissetta not only Egypt.
The soil here is different and I guess it makes a very tastier grain reflected when crafted into bread.
This baker has been among other making bread with the same 150 year old dough daily. They take half to make daily bread for sale and the other half used for the next day.
And last they make a special bread which I love. It's left to rise in tepid water. The taste and texture and its endurance is by far superior than any other bread I have ever tasted.

Vengono utilizzati prodotti locali di prima scelta ed il forno a legna per una cucina genuina tradizionale.
