We have tried several of the vacation rentals in this area but we always come back to Casa d'Oliva. It is beyond charming, very nicely equipped, and easy to get to.

The region is agrarian, so there are always fresh traditional ingredients for meals, and there is a Coop in Umbertide, which is a 10 minute drive through beautiful countryside..

The views are amazing, the pool is inviting, and the property is very private.

At one time the mountain was part of the Papal States region and the house, which dates to the 1850s was the local school.

Betsy is wonderful and goes out of her way to facilitate your vacation rental and local caretakers are there to help with cleaning and anything else that might arise.

There are quite a few rentals near Spedalicchio, but this is the one.
