We had the best time on our tour with Sergio! He is so fun to be around, super knowledgeable, and you can just tell he loves what he does. He was super communicative and picked us up from our cruise port. Transported us safely to our stops around Sicily including Savoca, Taormina, and Randazzo. We loved our tour and will absolutely return to Sicily and tour with Sergio again! Highly recommend!

My wife and I spent a full day with Sergio learning and exploring the history of Palermo. Without a doubt it was one of the highlights of our time in Sicily- Sergio brings deep academic and historical precision and preparation to the table delivered with the passion and intensity of a long lost friend- a friend who has lived a full life- helping you bridge the connnection to humanity that you never really knew you had.
And Thank You to Patti from B&B 22 Palace in Palermo for introducing us to Sergio.

If you are considering a trip to Sicily, the only way to do it is to book Sergio as your tour guide. He hands down made our time there the best it could have possibly been. I traveled with my mom and aunt, and he took the best care of us, ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our trip the entire time. He perfectly curated our itinerary to our preferences, acted as our interpreter, and brought us to one-of-a-kind places you don't get to experience with a large tour group. He even made an impromptu stop at a cemetery in Cefalu to help us see if we could find where some of our relatives were buried. Sergio is also a wealth of knowledge, providing historical summaries of each place we visited, including those we were only passing on the road. We were sad to part ways with Sergio after spending almost two weeks with him. His kind heart and deep knowledge of the region make him the best choice out there. When I return for another trip, there's no one else I'll book with - he is #1!

Had a great day trip with Sergio along the Fiumara d'Arte from Castel di Tusa up the Monti Nebrodi. Great adventure with a great guide. Sergio was easy going , very knowledgeable about any Sicilian topic and good sport in going for this adventure. Can not recommend Sergio enough if you want to see most beautiful and less frequented places. Hope to see you soon Sergio.

We spent three weeks with Sergio on the beautiful island of Sicily. It was an adventure from day one. He was sensitive to our needs and supplemented our experience immensely. We learned about the tangled history of Sicily; ate at the best restaurants; saw the sites without waiting in lines; drank the best local wine; and stayed at clean reasonably priced B and B's. Sergio is the best and deserves a 5 star plus and was worth every penny. If you are planning a trip, don't miss the Aeolian Islands.

Sergio was a wonderful tour guide! We highly recommend him to everyone who wishes to see the best of Sicily. We will come back and recommend you do 7 to 10 days with Sergio! He took us from Alcomo Marina to Mount Etna,Taormina, Randazzo. Where we spent a night in the beautiful vineyard with a delicious dinner. The next day we traveled thought the mountains to see our ancestors home town Contessa Entellina. It was so moving to see the names of our family in the cemetery and photos on the tombs. Sergio attention to every detail was five star! Ciao ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Touring the world at 77 years old can be difficult. It is best done with a personal tour guide like Sergio. He is fluent in English. His knowledge and experience and university degree in cultural studies makes for a superior tour guide.
Sergio will greet you at the airport and take care of your luggage. You don’t have to waste energy walking to the parking lot or waiting in line for a taxi/tour bus and other people. When touring sites or going out at night to restaurants, Sergio drops you at the door and finds the parking spot. He will go out at night and get you a meal and bring it to your room. He will work with you prior to the trip planning the entire stay through Whatsapp.
We spent 6 days at villages not on any tour guide in search of ancestry records, grave sites and the streets where our ancestry lived. It would have been impossible without Sergio talking to the grave keepers, Priest and local community record keepers.
Sergio will take you to all the places you want to see and explore each site for as long as you want on your own time schedule. He is flexible and will adapt to your changes on the go. At the last day we added touring the mountains and Marineo to search for ancestry grave sites.
His only goal is your comfort and happiness!

Sergio made our trip to Sicily very special. We didn't plan to have a guide at first but we ended up having him 2 days. And I"m glad we did. He's kind, knowledgeable and went out of his way to please us. We couldn't recommend him more.

I highly recommend Sergio as your guide in Sicily. He is always looking after his group and making sure everyone is enjoying their excursion. He loves Sicily and wants his guests to love it as well. He knows all the shortcutseveryonw. and best restaurants to experience local cuisine at its freshest. His knowledge of history is impressive and accurate. He speaks five languages so he communicates well. You will not be disappointed by choosing Sergio as your asicilian guide

To start, I need more than 5 Stars for Sergio! Sergio guided us for more than 3 and half weeks – from Palermo to Siracusa and Mazara to Lipari any many, many stops in between – with wine tastings, visits to archeological sites, puppet theatre, snorkeling in the Aeolians, hiking in Zingaro, shopping in markets for locally produced foods, eating sea urchin fresh from the sea, meeting and dining (fabulous authentic Sicilian food) with the local folks, explaining the complicated architectural and art history of the island, and so much more – all with grace, good humor, and great stories. Did I mention that Sergio’s services included not only logistics, but making sure the price was right. I cannot recommend Sergio highly enough. He is simply The Best!! Amuni!!

We got given a nice long very interesting history lesson! Timetravelled through 10+centuries by having thoroughly explained how (aspects of) many of Palermo’s landmarks became what they are today, ending at the airport for our flight back home! Including a tasty local food tour;) this was a great experience thanks to a well informed and what you’d expect from an Italian: brought with passion. Highly recommended and worth your money.
