Palermo Pilates

I was visiting Palermo from Napa, CA and thought it would be fun to try Sicilian style Pilates. I took a private class and had the best time. I've never done "classical" pilates and I found it very interesting and a real workout. Such a great experience. Thank you!

I have been doing Pilates on the mat for about 8 months now so when my friend suggested that I join her at her class I thought this would be no challenge. Boy was I wrong! I had 2 fabulous semi private sessions with Lesley and I used, and felt, muscles that I didn't know I had. Using equipment that I have not seen before, Lesley pushed me right to the limit of my ability, and then took me a bit further! All whilst making me feel completely safe and confident as she very clearly knows bodies and Pilates to an advanced expert level. With a fabulous sense of humor Lesley motivates, encourages and inspires you to do the best you can possibly do. I felt and still feel fantastic physically and psychologically, I am walking taller and feeling proud! Thank you Lesley, I will be back.

After the first few lessons, I could already tell I was growing stronger and the back and hip pain I'd been experiencing was lessening. Now it's been several weeks and I've greatly improved! The routine is efficient and really works your body. The instructor is patient and fantastic in guiding you to optimize your body in the best possible way. Also, having lessons virtually is so convenient. Palermo Pilates is one of the top Pilates studios around.

The best Pilates Studio in Palermo. Classical Pilates - Authentic method as Joseph Pilates teach to us with Gratz Pilates equipment. The teachers knows deeply the method. Dropped in and had two great private Pilates lessons while in Palermo for a few days. Lesley is a great, personable instructor and the studio has a great setup. Much needed workout while on vacation.

Lesley Bell is very skilled and empatic and I am sure you will only benefit from having her as your Pilates teacher. I cannot recomend her and her studio enough!

Also, Lesley arrange the Palermo Pilates Symposion - a yearly Pilates conference with some of the words best presenters in a beautifull setting near the sea and beach.

After just a few sessions I can feel positive strengthening changes through my core, thighs and abs. The workout feels "low impact" yet makes me have to catch my breath and works the body hard! Really enjoying making pilates a part of my weekly exercise plan - and the instructor is the best!

What a great experience feel pilates as Palermo Pilates teach you to do. Pilates gets inside you and sticks to your soul as well as to your bones. We live, breath and love in a different way, now. Thank you for the inspiration meaning.

I’ve been training with Leslie since November 2018. At first I was absolutely clueless about Classical Pilates, having previously done another method, and found it very hard when starting. With my every “I can’t do this!” Leslie would just laugh it off and say “of course you can!”. A year and a half later, with her patience, expertise, and knowing what my body can and can’t do I’m doing things I never thought possible. I’ve also come to understand the rationale behind each exercise, which has taught me to connect more with each movement instead of just going through the motions. I’ve now gained so much confidence in using the apparati that I’ve even willed myself to do mat work, which I absolutely hated!

Did I also mention that each lesson is always a barrel of laughs?

I’m so grateful to have found not only a wonder Pilates teacher but also a very special person.

Frequento Palermo Pilates da un anno circa. Ho trovato un ambiente familiare e professionale allo stesso tempo. Tutti gli istruttori sono preparati e cordiali. I corsi sono tanti e danno la possibilità di organizzarsi al meglio rispetto ai propri impegni. Straconsigliato. =)

Un posto davvero fantastico. Il team di Palermo Pilates è l'unico che sia mai riuscito a farmi fare movimento e sport in modo continuativo. Super precisi e flessibili per fissare gli orari e gli appuntamenti. Seguono ognuno di noi molto attentamente durante ogni lezione del corso, proprio perché ci si organizza in maniera tale da non fare lezione a più di 3\4 persone per volta. Questo fa una grande differenza, in quanto ti permette di essere seguito personalmente, al contrario delle palestre in cui fanno dei corsi per 10\15 persone contemporaneamente oppure ti lasciano a fare gli esercizi per conto tuo.
Pratico il pilates da pochi mesi e sto riscontrando già dei miglioramenti in termini di forza e flessibilità. Consigliatissimo!

Ho conosciuto il centro tramite il corso di pilates in gravidanza gestito da Francesca, sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dalla sua professionalità, gentilezza e simpatia. Lo studio è curato, pulito e dotato di tutti gli attrezzi per il Pilates, lo consiglio e continuerò a frequentarlo con piacere.

Esperienza super positiva! Il corso è ben strutturato e sia l’istruttrice che l’ostetrica sono davvero preparatissime. Non solo ottimo percorso di accompagnamento e preparazione sia fisica che mentale alla nascita, ma anche fondamentale nel generare benessere durante il periodo della gravidanza stessa ( grazie alle lezioni sono riuscita perfino a risolvere il fastidiosissimo dolore alla schiena!!).
Un grazie speciale all’istruttrice Francesca e l’ostetrica Jessica; senza le vostre preziosissime lezioni e insegnamenti non sarei mai potuta arrivare al parto così fisicamente pronta e psicologicamente consapevole.

Frequento lo studio da alcuni mesi e mi trovo benissimo.Ho scelto di fare pilates sperimentando la formula con i macchinari sia la formula a corpo libero.
Trovo giovamento ed oltretutto è un niente amichevole e sereno.
L' ho consigliato ad amici e dinque non posso che commentare positivamente la mia esperienza
