Trattoria Scalo Grande

I Highly recommend for fresh fish and seafood pasta. The view of the marina was beautiful. We had a lovely relaxing lunch. Some guests came up for lunch after a swim.

Authentic little restaurant with fresh fish, and great pasta. Chef Mario and the whole team are very attentive and friendly. A must!

We stumbled across this nice sea side trattoria by accident and really enjoyed our lunch here! The sea food was fresh and tasty, and the prices very reasonable. Will definitely recommend and come back here. Nice shaded terrace with direct view of the little harbor.

Very warm and friendly reception, the fish was fresh and delicious, the pasta homemade and the local wine of high quality.
Would definitely recommend the scalo grande antipasti plate, it has all the delicious seafood they offer. Especially the mussels were a delight

Beautiful food served up in an idealic setting. Fish was as fresh as it comes. There is even a great tasting non-fish (veggi) spaghetti option, and all at a great budget friendly price. Waiters are very friendly despite our terrible Italian speaking skills and kindly ordered our taxi at the end of the evening.

Excellent dinner by the seaside. The waiter was very enthusiastic, personable and helpful. We went there as a second option but the experience ended up being first choice. Everything was super fresh and tasty, the portion generous and the whole staff extremely nice. Thank you for a special evening !

I was brought here after visiting Benanti winery on Mt Etna by the owner. He was guiding us away from the winery and just came all the way, then sat down to eat with us. He suggested just letting them bring out courses as they saw fit until we couldn't eat anymore. I took no photos of the meal, as I felt it would have been rude to do so with the owners of both winery and the restaurant hosting us so beautifully. The baby shrimp and baby fish, each simply prepared with only olive oil, some lemon and a barely pressed piece of garlic were magical, and it only got better from there. Each course (of something like 7) ended with me greedily wiping my plate with bread to be sure I left nothing behind. Easily one of the greatest dining experiences and best winery visits I've had, and being in the wine business, I've been given fabulous experiences around the world.
If you can find this place at the bottom of a cliff, right next to the sea, you must go. In fact, go to Benanti first in the day, and come here after. You will feel absolutely civilised for the experience.

Trattoria Scalo Grande has exceptionally fresh and tasty seafood. Crisp local white wine, very friendly service and a great view. I definitely recommend this restaurant

Romantic place right on the Ionian sea. I had marinated shrimp and it was delicious. Everything is fresh.
