Ceramiche d'Arte Pascal Ravello

My wife and I were here for our honeymoon and fell in love with a ceramic serving bowl in the store. We spoke to Pascal asking if they could make a larger version of it for us and he was happy to do so. We just received the item last week and it was well worth the 6 week wait!!

When visiting the town of Ravello this past June we stopped into this amazing ceramic shop. We strolled through the large show room and had the chance to talk with Pascal. His pride of ownership and the artisans work is stunning. We couldn’t leave without ordering a large custom platter to be made to commemorate our time spent here. The platter arrived 3 months later, as discussed, in a perfectly package box. The plate is STUNNING, and I am so thankful we chose to order. I would highly recommend stopping by this ceramic studio when visiting!

I am not much of review writer - however, I feel it is finally time. After all, it has been over 20 years since we first met Pascal. We first met, at his old shop, in 1999 while we lived in Italy for 4 years. Back then it was evident that his shop had the best people, the best variety and the best quality ceramics. All those things still remain today. Over the years we have visited many times and purchased many items. When we shipped items they always arrived in perfect condition. Our last visit we purchased 3 flower pots, a large 16" wall plate, coffee cup and saucer (to replace teh one we bought in 1999), and a cooking spoon holder. Everything was shipped quickly and the items turned out perfectly. Pasqal, Madalina, Lisa and his staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. This is the best ceramics shop in Ravello, hands down. We were on a mission in Ravello: to find a replacement for one of the four pasta bowls our daughter and son-in-law had purchased on their honeymoon in 2008! I visited another shop, where the ceramics were perfectly nice. But nothing caught my eye; and the proprietor kept following me around. Next stop: Ceramiche D'Arte Pascal. I felt that I was getting a peek into heaven. So many stunning one-of-a-kind designs, superb workmanship and quality. Just breathtaking. And sure enough, I found bowls that matched my daughter's set. Plus, I wanted to choose gifts for other family members and something special for myself. There were so many choices. The variety of spectacular designs is simply beyond compare. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They let me look around to my heart's content yet were available to answer questions. They let me set aside the items I was considering. I chose traditional pasta bowls to add to the "honeymoon" set, whimsical bowls of a very different design for our grandchildren, Christmas ornaments, a beautiful platter (for us!), key fobs for our nieces (who had just gotten their drivers' licenses). We found prices to be more than reasonable, especially with shipping. We were in Ravello three days and every single day, I went back to Ceramiche D'Arte Pascal. It was like visiting an art museum. My husband enjoyed sitting on the bench outside and visiting with the other men, waiting for their wives. By the time we left, we felt that the lovely family that owned the shop were our friends! Best of all: Weeks later, when our shipment arrived (Italy to California): everything was in perfect condition, and just as beautiful as we remembered. There were even a couple of extra items I requested to be added via email; I had never seen them, and they were exactly right!

We visited Pascal’s ceramic store during a tour of the Amalfi Coast in June. Thankfully our tour guide was a huge fan and brought us to Pascal’s shop. We ordered a few items (wish I would have ordered more!) and it was all delivered today. Well packed and everything as promised. It is so beautiful and a wonderful reminder of our travels this past summer.

Ravello is a sleepy town when it's after 9 pm. I was luckily able to stumble upon this shop on my way back to the square.

I had a great time visiting and looking around. There were a lot of ceramics that were expertly crafted and designed. I wish I had spent more time just looking at everything. There are a lot of variety of styles, and if you're still unsatisfied, just customize your own.

I found a peculiar looking candle holder that I ended up buying. I definitely will come back so I could collaborate my own set of dishes.

We found this fabulous shop when we were shopping in Ravello in October of 2016. We were staying in Positano and noticed that many of the restaurants served meals on colorful ceramic plates with animal designs. We were on a mission to find some and bring them back to Boston to remind us of our wonderful vacation on the Amalfi coast. We went into many shops in Positano and Ravello that had these types of plates, but Ceramiche d'Arte Pascal had the best selection. We ordered 12 plates, some bowls, serving platters, a pitcher, and several other pieces. The shop shipped everything out immediately and the box was waiting for us when we got home. We decided to order more pieces about a year later, including latte cups and saucers and a few more plates. A couple of the plates broke enroute, and the shop replaced them immediately for free. Our latest shipment of pieces arrived today, and I am so happy. I needed an additional 4 dinner plates and 20 dessert plates for my father's 90th birthday party coming up in May. The shop had many of the pieces I requested in stock, but some needed to be made up. Everything turned out beautifully. We have entertained with our special animal-themed dinnerware over the years, and people always comment about how pretty they are. We are very appreciative of the quality and beauty of these ceramic pieces, as well as the customer service from Ceramiche d'Arte Pascal. Thank you Madalina and team.

During a visit to Ravello in 2015 we ordered this beautiful table for the porch of our home in theLakes Region of New Hampshire. Pascal was very helpful choosing this piece and reassured us that it would arrive back in the US a few months. True to his word the beautiful table arrived one day carefully nestled in a very large box with lots of folded cardboard cradling every edge. I redecorated my porch around this beautiful table and feel like a little piece of the Amalfi coast is here in northern New Hampshire.

We visited Ravello and purchased a beautiful fine art vase. The vase was shipped to ISRAEL and arrived within 4 days in perfect condition.
We are very satisfied, and recommend visiting PASCAL s.r.l at Ravello.

I have been to many ceramic stores in Ravello and throughout Italy, and this shop has extremely high quality hand painting with a very fine touch. There is a large selection of designs as well, some that I have not seen any where else. The quality of the painting and the fine detailed strokes come from a master painter. There is a range of modern and traditional patterns. Shipping is included if you spend a certain amount. The family is lovely, friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite Ceramiche shop and I have been to many. A friend told me about this shop 1.5 years ago. I went and loved his dishes. I completely picked out the combination of patterns I was going to do, but was not ready to order as I felt like I needed to shop around some more since we were new to Italy. I just went back to Ravello and ordered the dishes this week. I have been to many corners of Italy in the last year and half and have picked up many different dishes. The detail in the hand painting of Pascal's dishes is head and shoulders above the rest that I have seen. His patterns are absolutely beautiful and they are happy to modify for you (one of my patterns is going to be a combination of two different plates). Ergo "hand painted". You can see the quality of the dishes when you look at them and you can feel it when you pick them up. They have a "solid" sound when you tap on the dish. I am so excited about my dish order. I cannot wait to get them!

Pascal's is a very good reason to keep coming back to Ravello and the Amalfi coast. I have had several wonderful pieces shipped back to Sweden with no effort what so ever on my part. Only once there was a slight mistake, but it was handled very satisfactory. I will go back as soon as I am able. The charm of the proprietor and his family is reason enough, but you will not regret a purchase if ceramics is on your list. It is the place for it.

Bellissimo! They were so friendly and had a beautiful selection of hand painted ceramics. I wanted 3 bowls of a particular design, but they only had two. They offered to make me one additional matching bowl at no charge and even shipped them to me for free. Came during the off season and got an awesome deal! High quality shop!

Our first visit there we didn’t purchase anything. When we came back home I regretted it terribly. We were blessed to go back a second time and I bought a beautiful colorful platter that I cherish and use a lot. Is was shipped and arrived a day or so after our return home. If we’re ever able to make the trip again someday. I will make another purchase!! Beautiful shop! beautiful people! beautiful, quality pieces!

Absolutely beautiful work, with a great variety of designs and colors at fair prices. True artistry, friendly service, and easy shipping back to the States. This place is a gem. You will see many items in tourist shops that look, from a distance, like traditional Italian ceramics, but don’t waste your time or your money. Pascal’s is the real deal!

I bought a volcanic stone table from Pascal to be shipped to England. It took three months to arrive which is lengthy but Pascal made it very clear when we purchased it and made payment in his shop. The delivery at UK end was troublesome but Pascal's manager and the logistics companies at Italy side (except for SDA Express Courier) all tried very hard to resolve. Overall, excellent product - unique design, great quality and good value. Will certainly buy again. Customers outside Italy need to make sure you ask for the info on the contact details of the local delivery company in your receiving country and the local tracking number, which is different than the one issued in Italy. For the UK customers, avoid UK Mail if you can.

I returned from Ravello in June, one of my favorite places. I had been pricing hand painted ceramic table tops in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Pascal Ceramiche D’Arte had the most beautiful selection and best price. I found a 32” table I loved with a Ravello design. I met the owner and his sons and we agreed on a great price and custom painted table by Ravello’s top ceramic artist. It arrived yesterday as promised perfectly packed, the design just as I requested (you approve it first) and I absolutely love it. They were great in responding to emails and I would highly recommend this shop for price and quality.

We traveled to Positano and Almafi to find ceramics made from lava stone. We found this place right near our hotel in Ravello. Of all the places we shopped in the three cities, Pascal Ceramiche has the most unique and beautiful lava stone dinnerware, dining tables, accent pieces, etc. More more vibrant colors than the other stores and very unique patterns.
We found the owner to be passionate about his product and that is a telltale sign of quality. No doubt the finest quality on the Almafi Coast. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something that no one in your neighborhood will have and his pricing was very good. Definitely not the least expensive but you won’t be disappointed! Molto Benne!!

I've visited Pascal a few times now, and my collection of his pottery continues go grow. I really enjoy the pieces I have. Every time I use one, it takes me back to Amalfi. Hopefully, one day my kitchen will have nothing but dishes from Pascal.
