Soul Kitchen Café

A very convenient cafe and restaurant in our hotel. We arrived late at the hotel when most restaurants had already closed but were happily satisfied by the hot freshly toasted sandwiches and delicious coffee at the cafe. We further ate twice at the adjacent restaurant. Enjoyed the grilled fish and octopus; the parma ham with sweet and sour vegetables were delicious! The staff also went out of their way to make my husband's birthday special with their attentiveness and cheesecake dessert; they even huddled together to sing "Happy Birthday" without any prompting. Thank you! Bravissimo! What a delightful gem of a find!!

I have no complaints about this cafe. I arrived right at opening after getting off my bus just across the street. Turns out, it was the perfect time before the morning rush.
The cornetto and drink special is nice for the morning. The cafe is cleaned regularly by someone that goes around and clears tables. The WiFi is good enough to work. Overall a good social vibe. I’d return.

Just in front of of the train station, perfect spot to wait for your train as there is no waiting room in the station.
We had spaghetti pomodoro and mezze from lunch menu, both tasty and fresh.
Pay attention they charge for the table service for each item 0,50€. Toilets were clean, staff speaking English well.

We had a two hour stopover in Mestre station and this cafe was across the street, so convenient! And we’re so glad we came in, it’s an awesome cafe! Great service, good food and chill ambience. The line was long but was fast enough. Plenty of cosy seatings and clean toilets. 5 stars!

Frankly speaking I did not expect to find a restaurant / café as Soul Kitchen Café in MESTRE.
At first I was mislead by the name, since our friend owned a Restaurant with a similar name : SEOUL RESTAURANT.
I could not see any oriental dish on offer.
The cuisine is predominant Italian here.
I had the Zuppa on offer since I already had my lunch. A soup of mashed red beans with Radiccio and croutons. It tasted like home cooking, simple but good.
No secondi sorry.
Apple cake was delicious and well presented.
The Espresso was from Lavazzo and tasted - good as expected.
My rating for overall performance is 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STARS
The place has a good and pleasant atmosphere and a well trained, efficient, but polite staff.

Came here for coffee between trains. It’s right across the street and very easy to get to from the platforms (2 minutes). Service was quick and the cappuccino was delicious. Croissants were fresh and tasty too. 🥐 ☕

My morning start with so nice place near train station.
I decided between hostel or outside for breakfast and it was right choice of place.

This was a great place to have dinner in Mestre. It's right across the street from the train station and very easy to find. The food was amazing and extremely reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, such a nice and cozy place to have a drink or a meal. We ordered and shared the spaghetti with clams and mussels, the sea bass with potatoes, and the brisket with mashed potatoes. (I can't recall the menu name for these). The brisket was so tender and flavorful. Everything was delicious so its hard to pick a favorite. I also had a great glass of red wine. I highly recommend Soul Kitchen Cafe.

Our family had a great experience at Soul Kitchen, on our first night in Venezia. The food was amazing, and the service was awesome.... the staff were so good to our teen boys and have given them fun memories that will always stay with them. My 13 year old has discovered a love for bread sticks (staff will know..haha!!).

If you're wondering where to eat on arrival in Venezia, definitely try out Soul Cafe.

The coffee and croissants were delicious here. Overall, I would rate it 4/5. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside.

The food was amazing and the service too. They gave me all the breadsticks I could ever want and more. If you’re in the area you should totally consider coming here.

Surprisingly good food for a hotel cafe across from the train station. Bruschetta was excellent, Almond Croissant was flakey and sweet, Apple Strudel was very elegantly presented and too sweet for my wife but I loved it. Make sure to share, these servings are very generous!

Bathrooms downstairs were fit for a very fancy hotel. Lots of wood, marble and a very fancy sink the length of one wall that is a slab of granite leaning away from you.

I enjoyed this place so much. The coffee is good. The lasagna is so yummy. The atmosphere is so nice. Right in front of mestre station.

Nice restaurant right in front of the train station. It was our first meal in Italy and it was definitely a good start. The service was fast and helpful, the place had a nice environment and the bathroom were surprisingly clean and new (not what you normally expect from a restaurant next to a train station where lots of people stop by every day). Highly recommended if you want a quick bite on your stop in Mestre!

Great value, busy waiters, but the place is lovey, plus you don’t expect a 5 star treatment in a restaurant across the street from a train station (just answering some other reviews)

Fantastic breakfast at affordable prices. 2.50 Euro for a croissant and a coffee. Very nice atmosphere and overall great staff. The service was speedy and high quality, not much else you can ask for! Best café in Mestre
