I love this place. You can grab coffee and some croissants in Bar Touring 20 meters from the entrance and then spend half a day relaxing in Villa Giulia. Absolutely lovely park neighbouring with the botanical garden.

This is a well tended local park/formal garden next to the Botanical garden. It opens at 7.30am and is free to visit. It is also close to the coast. We visited on a Saturday about 0830 and it was very quiet and restful.
The central buildings are impressive but the layout, plants and statues mean there is plenty to see around each corner. I highly recommend coming here early before a visit to the Botanical garden.

A must in Palermo. The public garden is connected to the botanical garden (which is also a must). Some neoclassical bulgings makes remembering the old Greek or Roman times. When the weather gets too hot it’s definitely a place to recommend to have some rest in a quite and relaxing environment.

Magnificent botanical garden close to the sea side, with a large variety of cacti, beautiful orange trees, and a small pond with different species of birds and tiny lovely turtles. It's amazingly quiet once you're in there.

It's a nice garden! Compare to Botanic, which you habe to pay to go inside, I would definitely suggest you to go to Villa Giulia. It's free and the park is more taken care than the botanic

Lovely park right next to the botanical gardens. Easy to get to by bus. Some scaffolding in places which makes the views of some sculptures a bit less appealing. Lots of benches to relax at. Many of the fountains didn't have water in them. A variety of trees and some brightly coloured flowers. Recommend coming here for a peaceful stroll and a sit down with nature.

It was a bit dry and not that green in July. Very calm, not crowded at all. But very impressive sculptures and close to the sea!

Beautiful green park with old sculptures and great atmosphere. Good for walking and running as well. It's also really clear comparing it to the whole Palermo city ;)

Really beautiful place, large and full of interest things to see. Path is not the best, specially for buggies, I don't recommend allowing children to run (I know is a bit hard), my son was excited and ran, due to the path not being straight and full of tiny rocks he fell and grazes his face and hands. There is a coffee somewhere around there, I asked for ice and they were happy to supply. It is a very pleasant walk.

A lovely and peaceful corner in the chaos of Palermo. This is an historical public garden created for the people of Palermo. It shows the "Italian style" design of the garden, with regular and straight paths decorated with statues and fountains.
Villa Giulia is next to the Botanical Garden of Palermo and near the sea, so it could be a good idea visiting it and then walk towards the Botanical garden or towards the park near the sea (Foro Italico) in a day when you want to keep some rest from the noises and colours of the city centre ;)
