Ristorante Caffè Duomo

In this historic location in the center of Livorno you will find excellent food and perfect service. We had the chance to chat with the owners, a very nice family running the place for almost a year now. This place is perfect to discover local cuisine, taste amazing cocktails and enjoy the beautiful terrace. We also noticed many local people taking their lunch there, enjoying the selection of daily specials.

"Caffe Duomo Ristorante" was the perfect spot for my first beer in the beautiful city of Livorno. The atmosphere is incredible—both vibrant and relaxing. The waitstaff are professional and make you feel welcomed. I’ll definitely be returning!

First of all thanks to Nicola who made this place so fabulous! Because of him entire crew use to come here to dine. This place got a soul, spectacular food and lovely stuff. It’s good to be back, always. 🥰

Everything about this place was amazing! The family that runs the restaurant was so kind! My 3 wild kids were being crazy and they went out of their way to make them smile and didn't make us feel like they were being obnoxious for being grumpy, hungry kids. Everything we ordered was fantastic, we ate every last bite! The owner even told us about the bread his wife makes fresh every day, and it was delicious!

Caffè Duomo was the first restaurant we dined in around Livorno - we were extremely hungry after arriving in Livorno and needed some good food - the restaurant provided a cosy atmosphere, friendly staff that was able to guide/advise us on food choices and overall, the pricing was way cheaper compared to other local restaurants.

We indeed enjoyed the very peaceful atmosphere outside under the shadows in a hot day! We were brought starters quickly, tried some Moretti beer, the pasta ragu was a huge portion and the pizza we had was very rich of ingredients.

Right before we've asked for the bill, the main Chef came to us to ask about our restaurant experience, and he spoke very fluently in English with us. It was a very warm feeling to chat with him and we really appreciated the efforts that the staff put in our experience visiting the restaurant. We'd come back again for the delicious food, service, and location of the restaurant!

The pasta and pizza was superb! I also love their midori drink. The owner even gave us free limoncello shot. Very accommodating bar waiters. I enjoyed it a lot. There’s free wifi as well. 👌🏻

I have to stop a take the time and make this review while still here!! Anyone visiting from out of town make this tour first stop to eat authentic Italian. What service they offer. They take the time to make sure you get what you want. One of our top ten in Italy!!

Amazing food, always fresh, always tasty. Nicola is the man who can make your lunch or dinner turned into something very special. Highly recommended. Don’t be fooled by the way the place looks. It’s all about service and food.

New management here and thoroughly recommended. Excellent Risotto Porcini and Spaghetti Carbonara. Great cocktails too.

I just happened to be walking by and it felt and looked nice and when I stopped to look at the menu a very attentive waiter greeted me in English. I was drawn to eat there. I had the mussels and a wonderful tasty huge pizza. All ingredients were fresh and tasty. The service was over the top. I highly recommend. My favorite place in Livorno! Good prices too. PS the owner used to own a coffee roastery. Best espresso also!

We recently lunched at this Italian restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! The delicious food and outstanding service truly impressed us. It's worth noting that the restaurant recently changed ownership about 2 and a half months ago. Our large group, including children, thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend !!!

If we were here for more than the day ,this would be our watch the world go by bar. Service is very good and the staff attentive .Highly recommend you pay them a visit.

This cafe is one of the best in Livorno. They are very warm and showing hospitality in their family business. They have amazing chef and cook, serving delicious foods and aperitives. For the aperitivo, their beverages are fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed their welcoming nature and the products they are selling is very qualified. I bought panettone with champaign for Christmast, delicious and qualified! Thanks all the crew! Especially for their delicious bloody marry! Thanks a lot.
