Café O'NEIL

In front of the hotel, there were several restaurants lined up, and we chose the one that looked the most delicious. The “small boss” provided professional service that made us feel great as customers. The dish with eggplant, zucchini, and Parmesan was like a vegetable version of lasagna and was very delicious!💓

The restaurant is located on a stretch of restaurants just in front of our hotel. Great atmosphere with Irish pub vibes.

I had the carbonara. It was creamy and not too flavourful which was just nice for me.

My wife had the spaghetti allo scoglio (tomato based with various seafood). Flavourful and taste of the sea.

Ice cream was amazing too. We really liked the pistachio flavour.

Highly recommended! Apparently there’s no service charge or tax too.

Excellent food and friendly staff. The mascot of the restaurant is a little "boss" who does the job professionally. 😊

This is the best restaurant in the area!
Its really close to most hotels, the food was excellent and it was also cheaper compared to other restaurants.
The location is also very intresting, the walls are filled with all kinds of pictures, money from all around the world (even from Romania!), flags everywhere. It feels very welcoming and the staff is just like that too. Very kind and always joking, I loved it! If you stay more than one hour it feels like you just made some new friends 🤣.
In conclusion a wonderful experience. If you are passing by you should really go to this restaurant.

The Bolognese was very good 👍 but the Carbonara was quite odd for my taste. The atmosphere is nice and the service is good!

Local taxi Dino told us about this place... The best Italian food ever! Anthony the owner is Sicilian but spoke perfect English as he ran a restaurant in England for 20 years. Promise you won't be disappointed.

O'Neill's is across the street from our hotel. My wife and split the Insalata O'Neill which was excellent. Lettuce, chicken, tomatoes, corn.

We also split a Margerita pizza which they thoughtfully split up for us. To be honest, it was a basic cheese pizza and not a true Margerita pizza. The crust was crisp and not floppy.

We have been drinking Negronis and Aperol Spritzes and it was nice to see a full cocktail menu. A good Manhattan for €6 was a steal. My wife got a White Lady which was tasty but sweet.

€27.50 for the entire meal including a bottle of fizzy water too. A steal!

Great food, excellent service and a funny and accommodating owner that really enjoys his time serving you. Always there with a smile and a song. Highly recommended!

We love this place! Feels very local and authentic. The staff were so friendly and the food incredible! I had breaded mussels which were so yum, and the lasagne was the best lasagne I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend 😊

My husband, Al and I, had the pleasure of eating there a couple of times. The owner, Antonio, made us feel very special, and the food and service, outstanding. We can't wait to go back there!

I wish I could rate it higher. Best pizza we've had across Italy -- four cheese or Sicilian was wonderful. The service was superb, don't ignore the waiters and the managers/owners, if you're kind and engage they'll make your experience one of a kind!!

Went here several times and the food is delicious. Antonio is a famous employer. He is a host, cooks good food for you and told me some things about Sicilia. Actually I want to give 100 stars but I can only give 5.
