Absolutely unbelievable food. My husband got the same wild boar ragu, but with freshly made tagliatelle. Everything was so delicious and we discovered a new product similar to balsamic called Saba which is a mix of grape + apple with cinnamon and cloves... amazing on almost everything. Porchetta with red onions was divine. And the local Salami and cheese plate was an excellent way to taste the flavors of the region.

We loved the atmosphere and the server was fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back if we ever return to Assisi.

A wonderful local find tucked away in an unexpected corner of Assisi. The food was amazing - highly recommend the pumpkin soup, porchetta with red onions, and cinghiale that we had - and the people were nice and welcoming. 💯

The menu looked appealing and met expectations. I had a bean and lentil soup to start, followed by porchetta with marinated onions and oven baked potatoes. With a half litre of wine and a coffee the bill came to 46 euros.

Amazing family restaurant in Assisi. Very cosy. Delicious freshly homemade food. We enjoyed every bite of everything we took, from the pinsa to the pasta ang gnocchi to the lamb meat.. Everything was very tasty.. Plus a warm welcome and a very beautiful decor.. This restaurant has everything 😀

We stopped here for lunch. We were accepted very nice and approached immediately with lady who explained the whole menu for us and served us wine. They recommended us a few things and we went with it. The lunch was amazing! Very nice staff and pasta was really good. The thing that surprised me the most was parmigiana. Since I was never a fan of it, we decided to try this one. I loved it! Great place with very friendly staff who will take care of you. I recommend, 10/10!!!!

Great food and unbelievable service. You will feel the wait staff's pride in their country, area and food. Everything was so lovingly prepared you feel like you are an honored family guest at their kitchen table. If you have any dietary requirements they understand it all... celiac, vegan, vegetarian. You can't go wrong eating here.

Stopped in for lunch. Great (local) wine recommendations and amazing cheese boards. They can arrange cheese and wine tastings if you call ahead. Great staff and excellent pasta and soup

My husband and I had a very special evening at this amazing restaurant. We were greeted by the owner, Pasquale when we arrived and he made us feel very welcome. The ambiance is very warm with great energy.

And the food is fantastic. We had their special soup and it was incredible. For our entrees, my husband had their “Classico” grilled steak with rosemary and olive oil. It was cooked to perfection. I had their pasta of the day which was with tomatoes and bacon.

Their wine list is very good and we had a special bottle of Sagrantino, from this area - excellent. Prices are very, very good and I have to say the espresso and cappuccino we had may be the best we have ever tasted.

For our last night here in magnificent Assisi, we will be going back to see Pasquale and his fabulous chef Claudio. Thank you so very much for making our evening such a special event.

Wonderful restaurant and market Assisi. The owner is very outgoing and helpful with dining decisions. His recommendation of Wild Boar paired with his selection of red wine was spot on. There is even a live video feed of central Assisi displayed on one wall of the dining room.

great lunch here. I had the special of the day, a particular bean soup (not commonly grown), my friends had the mixed meat / cheese plates that were exquisitely made, and a glass of red wine, per the waiter's recommendation. you can also get great coffee and the bread basket was worth it! highly recommend, good value, authentic.

Far beyond expectations: so much more than a cafe (it doesn't even do breakfasts). This is more like a restaurant/wine bar with good food and a great wine selection. We arrived just before they closed one evening, but even though there kitchen was closing down, the helpful owner was able to offer us a combo bruschetta, salumi and cheese board (we were entirely happy we opted for the small one!), plus a wonderful lentil soup and a torte (flatbread) with greens. And a wide range of wine by the glass. We did a vertical tasting of one of their bio suppliers. Yea!
The place was good enough that we went back for lunch a couple of days later. We'd hoped to eat and leave. The food was just as good, and although the service was just as friendly, it was really slow. (Maybe we're just not used to lingering for an hour over 20 minutes of eating.) But the food was still good enough that we'd go back. A great place if you can take your time to enjoy it.

Helpful during the booking, very nice place, super good food, masterfully paired with very good drinks. Service can be compared to cuddles. We had a very relaxing time.
