Had a wonderful time eating dinner here. Only one waiter and one cook so prepare to be patient if several tables are taken. Atmosphere and food was much better than the large restaurants with big menus blasting American music. My first time having carbonara and it was delicious. Husband had lasagna and he loved it. Tiramisu was a refreshing treat in the hot evening and very tasty. If you are staying Monti, I highly recommend stopping here for dinner.

Such a wonderful first meal in Rome! I’m so sad I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman who served us, but he was the owner and took such great care of my family. He was so accommodating to our baby and the food was fantastic! Definitely recommend and will be back

Very polite owner. The food was excellent. Portions seemed a bit small but maybe because I did take away. Don’t get me wrong, I would eat here again! July 2024.

Tiramisu tastes sooooooo well. Best I have ever eaten in my life!
Lagasna is also nice. It’s my first time to eat lagasna lol.
The kind shop owner even reminds me to attention the pickpockets because I left my bag and mobile phone in the seat when paying for the meal.
Grazie!

This was the best tomato pasta I've had in Italy, they made the simple tomato sauce layered and very rich, mixing the strong flavor of the cheese with the lightness of the tomatoes. The second course of roast beef with potatoes was also very tasty, with just the right amount of heat and a flavorful, bisque-like sauce. On top of that, I ordered the espresso ice cream, which was not on the menu, and it tasted just as wonderful. The owner is very welcoming and elegant, and the service is very attentive. It's a quiet little restaurant, but I wouldn't want anyone to miss it.

Loved this resteraunt! We came here on our first day in Rome and the food was incredible. It was the BEST pizza and pasta we have had in Italy. The service was amazing and the Italian man who owns the resteraunt is very nice, so sweet and he works very hard, you can tell he really values his customers. We decided to come back the next day as the food was delicious. We definitely recommend to try this place when your in Rome.

Visited Roma today and stumbled upon this charming, cozy restaurant for dinner. The owner's warm hospitality, speaking to us in French, made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and Giorgio even took the time to share a bit about his career in the restaurant industry. To top it off, he generously gifted us some croissants. We'll definitely be returning if we find ourselves back in Roma.

Our favorite restaurant in Rome! Amazing homemade food with friendly service! We kept going back for more and became friends with the owners. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially the ravioli, the Caesar salad, the pizza ( all of them), fettuccine Ai Funghi, the ham and cheese omelette for breakfast, and all the pastries!!! Just amazing!!!

I absolutely loved it!!
We found it as it was close to our hotel and the breakfast was amazing. Simple, fresh food with great taste. We had the caprese which was so fresh and tasty, then we had the fruit salad and the breakfast omelette. The eggs were honestly the best ones we ever had!!! My husband is an omelette specialist so if he says it was the best one, there is a good reason to believe him. The espresso was tasty and not too strong. The staff was so kind and warm, we felt very welcomed. All in all it was a super nice breakfast experience with a very good price. Highly recommend you to visit if you are in Rome and looking for a quiet, tasty place!!

This little unassuming restaurant is a hidden gem run by a sweet Italian man. We came here because of the glowing reviews and were not disappointed. We had the spaghetti with tomato sauce, fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms, and veggie pizza (eggplant, courgette, black olives, etc.). It was the best pizza we had in Rome. The pasta dishes were so simple yet packed with flavour.

Compared to the other places we had pizza and pasta at, this one felt very authentically Italian. Would come back again if we come to Rome.

Title: "A Delightful Culinary Experience at Art Cavour!"

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Art Cavour, a family-run Italian restaurant, was an unexpected yet absolutely delightful find! Every dish we tried seemed to transport us straight to the heart of Italy. The ravioli, a highlight of our meal, was cooked to perfection, with each bite offering a mouthwatering mix of flavors that was hard to forget.

In addition to the ravioli, we couldn't resist indulging in their desserts - the stellar tiramisu and cannoli. The tiramisu was a creamy dream, a perfect balance of coffee and sweet mascarpone, while the cannoli offered a crisp, sweet finish to our meal.

My husband was particularly taken with the fettuccine with mushroom, which he described as an orchestra of textures and earthy flavors. The pasta was perfectly al dente, enrobed in a savory sauce that perfectly complemented the meaty mushrooms.

Our daughter opted for the soup, which she found absolutely divine. It was comforting and flavorful, a testament to the kitchen's ability to turn a simple dish into something extraordinary.

But it wasn't just the food that won us over at Art Cavour. The owner's friendly nature added a personal touch to our dining experience. It was clear from our interaction that this isn't just a business for them, it's a passion.

In a world full of dining choices, the positive reviews for Art Cavour were what initially drew us in, and we're so glad they did. This restaurant is a hidden gem that more people need to discover. If you're considering a visit, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed.

In conclusion, Art Cavour was a culinary revelation - delivering delectable dishes in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone craving an authentic Italian meal! "A tavola non si invecchia." It translates to "At the table, one does not age," reflecting the Italian belief that good food, shared in good company, is a timeless joy.
