BV Airone Resort

Fantastic resort. The photos do not do it justice. The best family holiday with kids in mind. Booked via Neilson. Faultless. Food, hotel, room and activities are second to none. Activities run by English staff. Hotel run by Italians. Best combination. Would happily book again. My 9 year old son normally hates kid's clubs. This one, he enjoys so much, that I hardly see him from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Won't disappoint.

Just finished our week here with Neilson and had a great time. Kids club excellent and range of sports all good. Particularly impressed with quality and amount of tennis. Bikes are aimed at keen cyclists with range of guided tours graded Blue to Black and keen cyclists. Took a learn to sail course which was great.
Food on included nights all reasonable quality and wide range. Bbq night not so good but bar restaurant is great. Two local restaurants - only tried one (italian fish style not snoopy pizza) - which was really good so went 2x lunch, 1 x dinner.
Would definitely consider returning.

This is an exclusive Neilson resort. Opened by Neilson in 2018 so all sports equipment, tennis courts are brand new. The sail centre on the beach is well staffed, you can take any sail boat out that you like, pico, laser, bajia or Dart. They have windsurfing kayaks and SUP boards. The sums are all 10'8" by 34" RED inflatables so no touring or high end boards. There is a large water area which is constantly manned by lifeguards. There are sun beds and parasols at both pool and beach. There are carbon trek racing bikes for an extra charge. Spa treatments are extra, excursions are extra, lessons in swimming private PT etc are extra but most is included. The food is fantastic although only four evening meals throughthe week and buffet style. Choice is excellent. The other three nights you can either eat in resort for a charge or go to local restaurants and towns. There is a local tour operator who you can pay for a coach ride and the hotel operates a free 8 man shuttle to the local shopping centre and town. The rooms are clean, I recommend spending a little extra to get a balcony and a view as some rooms face th inner menagerie and have little light or outlook. There is a roof terrace uses for yoga, HIIT, circuits, stretch sessions. The gym is appalling. It's a small air conditioned room in the basement with a cheap weights bench and some other circuit equipment such as throw bags. No actual gym machinery, no rowers, no runners, no proper bars or weights section. You don't need the gym here unless it's cloudy and rainy which happened to us most afternoons unfortunately. Also booze is not included. Expect to pay for any alcohol, it can be added to your room number and payed at the end. The hotel staff are locals and very friendly and helpful.

Our family visited had a holiday of a lifetime at this resort with Neilson. Food and facilities were outstanding. Great for people who like tennis, sailing, cycling, and eating!

Had an amzing time here. Resort has superb accommodation, food and activities. Nearby restaurant is great but otherwise imediate area is a bit deprived and nothing much around. However plenty on site to never leave.

Now part of Neilsons, had a great family holiday here in May 2018. Loved the Italian and English staff combined. Great sports facilities.

My husband and I came here on recommendation from my friend,and were not disappointed.Everything is 4 star food,rooms classes .I highly recommend Neilsons for family holiday there's so much to do and enjoy.

Great hotel, lovely staff, both local and from Neilsons, fabulous food, good sports facilities. Sad we only have a week. Will be looking to come back asap.

Appena rientrato con la mia famiglia da una settimana passata magnificamente presso il BV Airone Resort. Bella struttura, ben tenuta, a pochi passi dal mare. Confortevole la stanza (il terzo letto era piccolo ma andava bene per una bimba di 6 anni). Bellissima la piscina e la spiaggia. Il mare era pulitissimo, sebbene dalla battigia la spiaggia lascia il posto a piccole pietre (consigliate le scarpette, soprattutto per i più piccoli) e l'acqua diventa in pochi metri alta. Infine un plauso a tutto il personale, dalle signore della reception, agli adetti alle pulizie e al personale di sala e dei bar sempre premurosi e disponibile, per terminare con i ragazzi della animazione (una forza della natura) e con le ragazze del mini club (mia figlia per il primo anno non ha passato neanche un giorno con noi😄)......che dire, complimenti a tutti..... ovviamente consigliatissimo.

Siamo stati una settimana fa , nella settimana del ferragosto. Sicuramente una struttura ben attrezzata, forse un pò meno per la scelta di cuscini e materassi un pò scomodi ma tutto fattibile. Tutto a portata di mano , spiaggia vicinissima e piscina attrezzata anche di bici per idrobike. Personale molto gentile soprattutto camerieri e la signora del bar. Cucina impeccabile e cibo squisito dalla colazione alla cena, tantissime varianti di piatti sia carne che pesce.
Ma un plauso speciale va alla loro animazione, non ci sono parole per descrivere la bravura di ogni singolo/a ragazzo/a del gruppo, ognuno di loro è parte importante. Gianmarco, Giovanni e Mimmi dei pilastri ma tutti gli altri : Giulia, Patty, Michy, Edoardo sono stati tutti bravissimi e soprattutto ci hanno fatto sorridere sempre per farci godere una vacanza SENZA PENSIERI! Grazie per questa esperienza, sicuramente la consiglieremo e ci ritorneremo!

Struttura molto bella e super organizzata con accesso diretto al mare tramite una pineta.
Servizio di ristorazione ottimo, con grande varietà di cibi gustosi e di alta qualità e con prodotti tipici locali; molto apprezzata "la griglia" con tante squisite specialità e la deliziosa pasticceria.
Tutto il personale cortese, attento e premuroso.
Animazione valida con una equipe coinvolgente.
Siamo rimasti davvero molto soddisfatti.
Consigliatissimo!

Appena arrivati dopo un lungo viaggio siano stati accolti da un mega pranzo a buffet, dopodiché ci hanno dato la stanza e anche lì abbiamo avuto una piacevole sorpresa: una camera pulitissima, ordinata e con tutto il necessario, inoltre con un servizio di pulizia giornaliero, incredibile.
Infine l'animazione ci ha accolti in modo avvolgente e caloroso, gli spettacoli serali strappavano sempre più di una risata con la loro spontaneità e comicità.
Infine vorrei parlare dell'animatore che ha gestito lo junior club di qui ho fatto parte essendo ancora un teenager: Fabrizio, sempre simpatico, gentile e coinvolgente, che ci ha fatto fare un sacco di attività come ad esempio andare in canoa.
Ottimo hotel in cui andare in vacanza, sia per grandi sia per bambini
