Riva Del Sole Hotel

Very nice breaksfast. Lovely service, AC, lovely private beach with chairs and umbrellas, bar with lovely salads and panini (disappointing drinks). Restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is good (service could be better). Transfer can be booked to also go to near by cities.

Excellent value for money hotel. Breakfast is extensive with lots of fruits, muesli, yogurts, juices, espresso coffee made to order, croissants, pastries, focaccia, eggs, bacon, and much more.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped. We particularly liked room 216, which had a balcony with views to the ocean, large bathroom and large living quarters. Perfect for our daughter to run around.

It's a quick (5 min) walk to the beach from the rooms. And all brand new modern lounge chairs and sun bathing lounges with a shade on top. Perfect for fun in the sun.

The pool is cool and refreshing, and the ocean is usually pleasant for swimming with the exception of high winds coming onshore and some large swells. But perfectly fine if you're a confident swimmer. There are also life guards on duty until 6pm.

Very close to the airport (only 10 minutes drive). They have a shuttle bus but it is only free at the set timetable (they are happy to provide transport to and from the airport outside the set timetable for €25; no transport from the airport after midnight can be arranged). They have a very big and secure car park so plenty of parking space. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic; great choice of everything - fruits, bread, cakes, eggs, ham, etc. Room was very clean and spacious (better rooms in the new part of the hotel; old part still nice but needs a bit of an upgrade). They have a fantastic pool. You need to get the swimming cap at the reception (€3) to be able to use the swimming pool. They have a restaurant at the beachfront (open till 3pm) and pizzeria (from 8:30pm). Pizzas are delicious. The staff is very helpful and kind.

Lovely hotel, with privite beach access and pool, 30 Min to bari, and giovinazzo is 10 min easily reached via local bus short walk frron hotel, nice resturant and pizza restaurant , friendly staff. Would recommend staying here we had a Wonderful time.

Exceptional Value! This is a great hotel for the money. I stayed here in Oct. 2022 and paid CDN$110 or US$80 for the night, including breakfast. The hotel exceeded my expectations, considering the price I paid. Modern room, memory foam bed, rain screen shower head, very good AC, very good wifi. Very nice beach club with restaurant right on the water! 10 min, from the airport and est. 10 km from Bari Centro. Although I didn't eat at the restaurant or use the beach club, I did explore and it looks great. Although I never used it, there is a very nice 30 meter pool, big enough to do laps to work off your pasta belly. As mentioned in other reviews, great breakfast. The hotel is a little old, but this is Italy, where everything is old. As well, just for perspective, pre-Covid, I stay in a hotel about 100 nights per year, and I was pleasantly impressed with this hotel.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for about a week last year in September and it was absolutely wonderful! There were about I want to say 15 of us across 4-5 rooms. The rooms were clean and included our own laundry facilities which made the stay so much easier when roaming in the European sun all day long. Having the private beach was a blessing, previously visiting overcrowded public beaches; with a 5 minute walk from our room, we were relaxing in a quite environment surrounded by the luscious Italian ocean. The small cafe at the beach was well priced, and made this coffee-cream-slushie which was delicious; got one every day! On Saturday nights the beach turns into a club which is great if you want to go for a dance and have s few drinks. Once you get sick of it, within 10 minutes you’re probably in bed asleep.

I attended a wedding party, the food was perfect and also waiters were very polite. The view from the balcony is spectacular, by itself deserves a visit. This hotel also has a beach and a bar, which is pretty cool especially at sunset!

This is located a few kilometers north of Bari. We had a car and it made it easily accessible. It is located just off the autostrada and has good signage. There was plenty of free offstreet parking. The location, being somewhat removed from the city, felt very safe and secure.

It was a quick overnight stay. The staff was friendly, bilingual, Italian/English and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a pleasant offering of breads, pastries, cereals,, juices, coffee/chocolate, cheese, cold cuts, and boiled eggs.

We visited before the busy tourist season and allowed for a more casual visit. The coastline on which the property is located is beautiful.

Some of the facility is a bit dated and appears to be undergoing upgrades. We we unaffected by any detrimental effects.

Room was neat and clean. They had someone at the front desk who spoke English very well. The pool was huge!! Beachside was not the fluffy sand beach I was expecting but there is a cement area up higher for sunning. The beach side restaurant had prompt service and I loved the vegetable and salad self serve selection! Husband had pizza which was ok but not wow. Saw someone come out of the sea with scuba gear and spear.
