Polifemo

Our family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed there in June 2018, we totally enjoyed our stay. The beach is really close, and we had an apartment with an awesome view to the sea. The apartment was very comfortable, we had everything we needed, including the kitchen. Although we thought about cooking especially for our very demanding children, we finally had so many options around (restaurants, pizzerias) that we seldom used the kitchen. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Letojanni. Taormina is very easy to reach by public transport (buses every half hour) and there are plenty of trains to Messina or Catania for those wishing to explore more of Sicily. Our host, Maria, was very very nice and we would like to thank her. We would also like to thank Mario, who drove us from Catania Airport to Polifemo and back, and also was our guide on an extraordinary trip to Mount Etna!

A beatiful place with a wonderful view to relax and have a great holiday.

La nostra vacanza al Polifemo di Letojanni è iniziata cona la padrona di casa, la signora Maria che si è occupata della prenotazione dopodiché siamo stati seguiti passo passo dalla splendida signora Pina...posto eccellente, confortevole appartamento sulla spiaggia, circondato di lidi, ristoranti, bar e a 5 minuti dalla bellissima Taormina... Consigliatissimo...

Очень домашняя обстановка, чисто, мягкие матрасы! Понравилось! Хозяйка приятная! Рекомендую! Только в сезон, думаю, шумно.

Camere grandi e confortevoli, dotate di tutte le comodità

Das Haus hat mehrere Wohnungen, teils private Unterkünfte.
Wir hatten das Zimmer „Galatea“ mit Blick auf das Meer, was uns sehr wichtig war. Die Wohnung liegt zentral und ab 19.9 war es auch mit dem Parken problemlos - da freies parken möglich, sofern man denn einen freien Parkplatz findet (ich vermute zur Hauptsaison muss man stetig Parktickets ziehen). Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2ten Stock - aber keine Aufzüge. Wer also schwere Koffer hat, sollte dies berücksichtigen.
Die Dame die uns in Empfang genommen hat, Pia, war sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend und der Kontakt völlig unkompliziert. (Hierfür gibt es 5 Sterne)
Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig und sauber - verfügt über eine Küchenzeile mit Gasherd, Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und selbst Bügelbrett und Föhn sowie Wäschegestell sind vorhanden. Auf dem Balkon gibt es einen runden Tisch und 2 Korbstühle.
4 Personen können in der Wohnung gut Platz finden (und ein Babybett ist auch noch da).
Ein Punkt Abzug, im Bad befindet sich mittig eine Stufe die zur Toilette, Waschbecken sowie Dusche führt, das kann vor allem Nachts zur bösen Stolperfalle werden, vor allem wenn der Boden nass sein sollte. Auch das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dafür ist der Preis aber ok.

właścicielka jest bardzo miła i sama miejscowość jest bardzo przyjemnym miasteczkiem z którego łatwo można dostać się w inne ciekawe miejsca , blisko autostrada, sklepy i bardzo dobre restauracje

Nie podobało się · opis i zdjęcia apartamentów na stronie są wprowadzające w błąd. Meble i całe wyposażenie mieszkań jest bardzo stare i zniszczone. Meble ogrodowe na balkonach wymagają natychmiastowej wymiany, są połamane , brudne i zużyte. Stare ręczniki i narzuty. Z dostępnych kosmetyków, które miały być, była tylko niewielka ilość mydła do rąk. Sypialnia miała kraty w oknie, które wychodziło na schody w klatce schodowej. Klimatyzacja w innym pokoju niż sypialnia, która nie potrafiła schłodzić mieszkania. Mieszkania bardzo ciemne. Widok z balkonu na bardzo głośną ulicę,która jest główną drogą ,nie ma możliwości odpoczynku czy snu przy otwartych oknach. Miejsce parkingowe małe , tylko dla małych aut .Trudny wyjazd z garażu podziemnego . Wysoka cena nie adekwatna do tego co jest oferowane.
