The puccia with octopus was big big W. It was so good I can't explain. Couple basic coctails on the side they were also amazing. With my brother we loved the place. Definetly going to give this place a visit every time we are in Polignano a Mare. Also the service was 5 stars. The waitress was a very kind cutie. 2023.09.22

Definitely you must try the puccia with buratta(italian cheese with mozzarella) and octopus. One of the best puccia i've ever eaten. The owner is very friendly and serves you very quickly.

The octopus pucia was simply insane. The octopus is cooked perfectly, the bun is soft inside crispy outside and the tastes all work together so well.
It's priced well and you get pretty full (9 euros for pucia con pulpo at the time of writing).
Also the waiter was very nice and easy to communicate with.
And of course the location and scenery is a very nice bonus. The high rating is well deserved.

We sat at this little gem because it starting poring rain and I most say it was great!! they really accommodate us and did their best to make us confortable because of the weather! We didnt want to do the sandwich but they made us an octopus plate, very fresh octopus indeed. Service was great too and super fast!! Everything was lovely ❤

Cute, little place that serves these gorgeous octopus, buratta and dry tomato sandwiches. Large portion so easily shareable. Prices are very decent too. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Right in the left side when you enter on the Polignano Vecchio, you will find this very good traditional pucerria. The name is "sotto arco" because is just under an cool arch of stone when you can stay peaceful without any affraid of hotness outside. The food is delicious. We've eaten a very good sandwich with tuna and another one with prosciutto crudo e mozzarela but the very good one was octopus. So, if you want to have a stop for a beer and something quickly to eat, this place is just perfect. After that, you can enjoy your walking through the Polignano vecchio with more energy 😊

Best octopus I have ever eaten and best hot chocolate. I really recommend this place for a very delicious meal.

Very friendly service, cosy outdoor sitting under the shade of an archway passage and inexpensive drinks. We had two Aperol Spritz, served with some peanuts and tarallini, total 11€.

The best Puccia I ate during my stay in Puglia, pretty fresh and delicate just amazing well selected ingredients. Also the service was nice, professional and courteous I highly recommended it ! ( for aperitivo as well)

A nice quick snack stop. Very good octopus sandwiches. There are like drinks and sandwiches combo which were fair in price. Very helpful and attentive staff. Worth the visit.

Lovely corner street dining place, especially if you're looking for some delicious squid or polpo in the local language. The only downside is that the portions are rather small, so just get 1 for each person. You won't regret it what so ever!

Five stars! Bless this place with a visit, especially during the off season. It has the sweetest and kindest owner, who lovingly prepared two of his best selling puccia with octopus (and our prosecco + spritz) for us to enjoy on the rocks in the sun nearby. A dream start to the holiday we spent exploring Puglia. Grazie mille!
