La posteria Praiano

The servers were very nice/funny. Everyone knows English well, explained the food very well. Portions are not too big but very filling and flavorful. Great dessert too!

Absolutely loved this restaurant in Praiano. We had dinner here twice during our stay and breakfast one morning. The food is delicious - highly recommend the entrecôte with homemade fries and ragù pasta for mains and crème brûlée and panna cotta for dessert. The staff are so friendly, bubbly and welcoming especially Luna and Marco. The view is beautiful too. 🤩 There is a 20% discount card if you visit a second time so it’s well worth your while coming to this restaurant! We had an amazing dinner last night! There were 6 of us, with one being allergic to gluten. Our adorable waitress, Luna (who spoke beautiful English), graciously took care of ALL of us, providing special bread and pasta for my friend, which we were so grateful for. The food was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. Our favorite restaurant in Priano!

We have eaten here every night since being here because it is just that good. The staff is so nice and funny and the food is always delicious. Just a great overall atmosphere, music, and views. Will always recommend and forever remember La Posteria

I had the pleasure of dining at La Posteria Praiano in nearAmalfi, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tasting menu was a culinary journey, with each course more delicious than the last. The highlight for me was the T-bone steak, which was cooked to perfection – juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Paired with an excellent Barolo red wine, it made for a truly memorable meal.

The service was outstanding, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and provided great recommendations.

For the quality of food and service, it was truly bang for the buck. I highly recommend La Posteria Praiano for anyone visiting Amalfi. It's a dining experience you won't want to miss!

Excellent food and waitress! So friendly and helpful when debating between items on the menu. My husband and I ended up sharing the entreconte as a second course and it was delicious.

One of our favorite places while we were here… a great mix of Italian but if you are needing something other than pizza this is a must !!

Amazing food and service. Firstly the beef tartare is a must try, its the best we've ever tried, it will set high expectations for any other appetizer you try in italy. The meat and pasta are all good. You cant go wrong, burger was good but id go w pasta and steaks, as burger can use some salt. Molten choco lava cake was best dessert. Overall must try in area

Luna was very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome! The food was delicious especially the lemon tiramisu if you’re a citrus person. The veiw is also amazing and the music is perfect. It’s on the pricier side but it’s definitely worth it as the food is fresh and very good portions! Would definitely recommend to everyone :)

We searched out this wonderful place, far above the beach and crowded tourists areas. It did not disappoint! Excellent service, food was fantastic and different from typical tourist quick items. Appetizer croquettes, Italian angus steak, crème brûlée…worth your time and effort to find!

We were so tired when we arrived from Venice. Our server (Luna) was so helpful and the food was delicious. We decided to dine with them again on our 3rd night. The burger and the pasta special was fantastic! The view is incredible. The outside seating is so relaxing. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Absolutely incredible food and service! Our waitress was so knowledgeable and helped me decide the perfect wine pairing. I think my husband finished his pasta in less than 5 minutes. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and can't wait to come back.

Wow. We’ve been in Italy for a week and haven’t had a bad experience, but this place takes it to the next level. If I could I would give 6 stars. The tomahawk steak for two was amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and carved at the table. Likewise my crème brûlée was awesome. Topping it of was the great service and banter with our host Michele. Thanks mate, wish we could come here again. MM

We dined in June and were so pleased by the peaceful ambiance at la posteria. Luna, our host was a gem and made the experience so enjoyable. The view is also beautiful over the ocean during sunset.

There were special ‘off menu’ items when we visited that were incredible so be sure to ask!

She had the linguini special with zucchini, I had the gnocchi. Both meals were amazing.

Seated right beside the water with an amazing view and wonderful staffing who are consistent in ensuring you have a pleasant time.
